Additional information and experience - Douglas Smith
My interest in science and chemistry started when I was in college when I was preparing for medical school. Over the years, I've worked in private industry as a chemist in the fields of radiochemistry and organic analysis. I have taught science for both New Mexico and Florida, in high school and middle school, where I taught physics, biology, environmental science, and chemistry (honors and Advance Placement). I have also worked for as a part-time college chemistry tutor, while continuing my graduate education in biomedical sciences at the University of New Mexico. My research interests are immunology, biochemistry, and toxicology. |
