New York University | New York | English | High school | 2020 |
Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I'm an 19-year-old student at NYU. I am currently majoring in English, linguistics and minoring in creative writing. I've always loved tutoring, and I had much experience with it back in high school. I've worked for the TOEFL Killer Studio for two months, and tutored private SAT lessons in my senior year. The experience helped me greatly develop my ways of teaching. Despite being a non native speaker, I still managed to get high scores on standardized testing, due to my unique skills of solving the questions. -I grew up in China and had rigorous math training. As a result, I received a 5 on AP Calculus BC, so SAT math was in comparison very easy for me. -I have spoken mandarin throughout my life. It's my first language. -I received an 111(I didn't finish the listening because I had to use the bathroom) on my TOEFL, 750 on my SAT reading and a 790 on writing. Also, I've been intensively studying the language since an early age, and I can easily upstage many native speakers. Please contact me for more info. Looking forward to meeting you! |
