Virtual Preschool Information.
I am offering an online preschool program for this year while Covid-19 cases are so high. Below is an outline of what I am offering.
I will be accepting both 3 and 4 year old students. For 4 year olds I will focus on Kindergarten readiness.
Supplies: A monthly supply box will be mailed to the child so they have everything they need for all of the monthly activities. This will be included in the monthly cost of the class. There will be an envelope inside for parents with stickers and prizes to give the kids at my direction.
I will use a platform such as Zoom or Teams. The entire class will be teacher led.
Class: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
10:00 am -11:00 am- Group lesson about weekly topic, Calendar, and Number and Letter of the Day. We will have music and dancing or exercise and a story.
11:00am- 11:30 am- Lunch Break. This will be 30 minutes to an hour depending on what most parents would prefer.
11:30 am-12:30 pm- This would be a time to do weekly arts and crafts projects, science experiments as well as fine motor skills, math lessons and letter recognition.
Individual meetings: Every child enrolled will have a short weekly lesson with me to focus on their individual needs.
When there is a Monday holiday I would hold class on Tuesday so it would always be 3 days a week.
The classes would be recorded for later viewing only for the members of the class.
Cost: There would be a monthly fee of $ www.*** per child and it would be prorated for December when we would be off for break.
This is not meant to replace in person preschool, but as an alternative to parents who don’t feel comfortable sending their kids to preschool right now. |
