Hi! My name is Millie, and I love math. I'm an Actuarial Science major at BYU. I really do think that anyone has the potential to succeed in math, but not too many teachers will teach in a way that can help everyone. That's why I'm here to help!

Juliana Williams
Tutor, Teacher, Instructor
|
Hi!! I'm Juliana and I specialize in english and math! I can tutor for Spanish as well, in the IB programme we are required to take at least 4 years of it but I took 5! I want to make learning a fun experience for everyone I come into contact with; even if it is just to fill a student with wonder about all the mysteries of the world, that would be enough for me. I say this because: for students to excell, they must find passion within knowledge. There's something wrong with our education system, we've starved it; it remains hungry for passionate seekers of knowledge. That's what I hope to spread by tutoring.

Hello! I am a senior high school student who has experience in tutoring peers and children in Algebra, Calculus, elementary Chemistry and Coordinate Geometry. My friends have seen up to 3 letter grades increases in the Math topics I’ve helped them with. I can tutor Honors Chemistry and below, Honors Physics and below, and any Math topic besides topics above Calculus II. Personally, I am the most comfortable with mathematics and mathematically inclined subjects, but I can help with grammar conventions and essay development.
I usually give lessons to anyone below the age of 17 who needs help. I am familiar with and efficient in most topics mentioned. However, to serve the client best, I would want to know the topic of interest beforehand so that I can compile a special set of notes and exercises specific to the needs of the student. I would also want to know about the student’s grade trends in his or her class, any tests in his or her possession, and completed homework and/or worksheets so that I can set up a study plan for him or her. Usually, this is study plan consists of a short test (at most 10 minutes) taken, identification of strengths and weaknesses, and then the accumulation of specialised practice and study guides.

I am a junior at MIT pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (Robotics). I am writing to express interest in tutoring in STEM fields for summer 2018.
As a robotics major at MIT, I have background knowledge of the fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (both in design and manufacturing) in addition to extensive hands-on experience prior to and during my education at MIT. Being an MIT student has given me exceptional opportunities to broaden my vision through a wide variety of courses from both engineering and science disciplines; this tutoring opportunity will give me a chance to share my piece of knowledge with interested individuals.

My name is Bridget! I was born and raised in Breckenridge, CO, so I love to play outside and go on adventures. I am a student at CSU, where I am studying to get my degree in Biology. I am on the pre-med track, so I am very interested in the sciences. Because of the craziness, my classes are fully online, which enables me to have a lot of free time. Hopefully, I can use this extra time to help out those struggling in these crazy times. I graduated . I also have my Red cross-certificate in first aid and I am fully certified to be a nurse assistant. My hours are extremely flexible to what you need most! I am a 15-year-old honor student at Port Angels High School. I have always tried my best to keep straight A's. The reason I need money is that I need to pay for driver's ed. I tutored in 8th grade during lunch, and the students I tutored often saw improvements in their scores. I can tutor nearly any subject, but I do the best with math. I like to approach students kindly and use a technique based on their needs and personality. I genuinely enjoy tutoring.
