I have taught middle school and high school for 36 years. My middle school students qualified for the international computer science competition sponsored by the American Computer Science League for seven straight years. I have worked at the BDM Corporation, E G&G, and Sandia National Laboratories , and have held a Q clearance. I am also in the NM Teacher's Hall of Fame.
I've always been in advanced math classes, so I am well versed on the material. In every math class I've enrolled in I've maintained A grades, and in general I have a www.*** GPA. I would prefer having sessions over Zoom or Google Meets, but I am flexible to other options except for Facetime.
I am a teen tutor highly interested in mathematics and science. I love teaching math and science in new ways and focus on teaching concepts. Schools and teachers often do not teach individually, and children with different learning methods tend to fall behind. My purpose as a tutor is to uplift those students and bring them to be an A-student.
Hi! I am a junior attending Westfield High School. I am going to take AP Calc BC. In my previous math classes, I received an A in all of them. Out of the math classes I have taken Algebra was my favorite. I can help with other math classes too. We can work that out if you email or text me. For Chemistry, I had received an A (96%). For some people chemistry is hard and I am here to help. I can also tutor in Biology if needed. For prices, it can vary from $10-$15. We can work that out too! I have tutored people in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calc, Biology, and Chemistry.
My name is Sachin www.*** I attend Basis Independent Mclean, and I am in 10th grade. I am currently taking Pre-Calculus AB. My grades for Pre-algebra and Algebra I was 95 & 97 final. Math is one of my very few passions. I never get bored of doing math. I am great at teaching peers and people around my age range (12 - 17). I had a friend once who hated math, he took geometry, and I said I would help him every Monday for an hour, and he did well in math and got his grade from a 65 to a 90 within one yea with my assistance, and I would be glad to help more people like that. I understand math can be frustrating and daunting at times, but anyone can pull through with a little bit of extra www.*** ;

I'm currently taking Geometry Honors at www.*** Jackson MS. I got a 100% on last year's Algebra 1 final, a 600 on the SOL, and I received the Math Achievement Certificate last year, which is awarded to one student in each team (about 100 students). Last year, I helped my math teacher prepare her Math 7 students for the SOL. This year, I tutor pre-algebra students during my free period (every other day).
I am a Junior at the University of Mary Washington currently pursuing a major in International Affairs. My main focus is Politics and History, but I love biology and Math as well. I am considering becoming a teacher after I graduate and would love additional experience. I do have experience teaching low level Spanish to kindergarteners and am able to do so now as well. I am free most days and am willing to help with homework, study for a test, assist with a big project, etc. If there is any problem with pricing we can work something out. Thank you!
Hello! My name is Helen M., and I am a rising senior at Oakcrest School in Vienna, VA. I have over 6 years experience working with children, including those with disabilities. I have experience tutoring students of all ages and levels, as well as students with learning disabilities, such as dylexia and ADHD. I have a strong background in math and science from my work in doctoral level research laboratories at Georgetown, Catholic, and Marymount University. I believe that learning should be hands-on, fun, and not overwhelming. I typically charge $25-$35 depending on location. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Hi there! I am a former scientist who happens to enjoy English and test preparation in addition to math and science. Hi again! I just wanted to let you get to know a little about me. My previous experience with children started with my younger brother who is now 15. He opened the world to me helping other students with their school work. In 2010, I volunteered at a local Jewish Sunday school working with children ages 5 through 12. I was an assistant teacher for two years. After that, I started volunteering at a camp that was dedicated towards children who are along the Autism Spectrum. Spring 2015 I was an intern at Jemicy Lower school which focuses on working with childrne who have learning disabilities like dyslexia. I loved working with children. In 2015 after I graduated from high school, I went to Frostburg State University and went for a degree in early childhood education. Since then I have obtained a cosmetology license from Robert Paul Academy, and graduated from the Community College of Baltimore County with my Associates degree. I have been accepted into Stevenson University to obtain a degree in Finance. I love working with students and doing math. During this pandemic I have graduated, and am currently helping my 10th grade younger brother with his school work. I want to take the time I have available and help others in need.
I am a junior at Centennial High School and have been enrolled in Advanced Placement(AP) and Gifted and Talented(GT) courses since my freshman year. Throughout middle school, I had interests in math and science classes specifically, but by 8th grade, I was in above grade placement classes in every subject. When I began high school I quickly got involved in theatre arts, videography, photography, and charitable clubs. Although I was forced to retire gymnastics after ten years due to injury, I was able to participate in Varsity Cheerleading my Sophomore year. Academics hold great value to me, specifically the real-world applications of what is taught in school.
Skilled and experienced tutor with professional experience in the field of Chemistry in roles ranging from laboratory technician to conducting and presenting on original research as a lead author. I have extensive experience working in direct tutoring roles, both as a volunteer for various outreach programs and in the capacity of self-employment. I endeavor to fully invest myself in the success of every student I work with, and I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and see how I can best assist in achieving your educational goals. I look forward to hearing from you.
I'm a second year Software Engineering/Mathematics major, who is able to help those having trouble in math and computer science related subjects. I can tutor in Math from algebra to calculus II, as well as linear algebra and discrete mathematics. I can also tutor Java, C++, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, as well as a bit of some other languages and their fundamental concepts.
I have privately tutored math, science, history, and english (including SAT 1 and SAT subject tests) for 5 years. Several of my students scored 800s (perfect score is 800). I taught children (grades K-11) in these subjects as well. I have also taught SSAT for middle school students. I also taught at JEI where I taught children ranging from 1st grade to 12th grade reading, writing, and math. I love working with kids and I try to make sure that they are having a good time while learning.
I started tutoring in high school as a volunteer in my community and quickly became attached to it. I helped elementary school students with English and vocabulary and middle school students with Math subjects like Geometry and Pre-Algebra. It later became my first job experience as I made my tutoring lessons private. I enjoy seeing students grasp concepts they used to struggle with because of my assistance.
I have experience of tutoring science and mainly math for over 4 years and I charge $30 an hour. I am able to tutor all required math classes up to calculus of single variable (included). If you need help for science classes I am able to tutor you in chemistry and physics.
