Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Math, GRE, LSAT, PSAT, SAT, Graduate Test Prep, Analytical Geometry, Applied Mathematics, and Basic Math lessons in Edmond, OK.
I am a passionate math teacher who loves to watch students excel. My main focus is to ensure that the students I interact with gain the skills needed to make learning easier. The greatest struggle I see with students today is they allow themselves to get discouraged when the learning becomes difficult as so many of them have had no issues up to that point. Students need constant reassurance that they can overcome any obstacle with enough work and effort.
I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a double major in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I spent so much time and effort while in school learning not only from my teachers but from every internship I was able to take. I focused as much as possible on developing the skills to transfer my knowledge to the future generations.
I have taught at a number of high schools in Oklahoma and currently find myself teaching at Prue. I am qualified to teach AP Calculus, AP Statistics, Pre-AP Algebra 2, and many more courses. I have taught almost every level of math that a high school student can take at this point, but always look for ways to continue pushing myself to be able to reach more students.
I have taught all Math, from 6th grade math up to AP Calculus in High www.*** ; I also taught adjunct courses at the university level in Math in the Liberal Arts and College Algebra.
I am a math and physics tutor with a first class Bachelor's degree in mathematics from Imperial College London. I also took the Part III of the www.*** Tripos course, which is a world renown graduate course at the University of Cambridge. I will also graduate with a PhD in physics from The University of Texas at San Antonio on www.*** 2020.
www.*** availability is flexible and I can help with homework problems and boosting confidence. www.*** goal is to help students not only solve problems but also to help them understand and highlight fundamental concepts and principles in order for them to see the bigger picture. This way students will see how various ideas in math or physics are connected and hopefully then develop an enthusiasm for the subject.
Helping people has always been a goal of mine. Though I am young but I have a lot of experience with all different types of cultires and people. A lot of my experience comes from my two younger brothers who I've helped a lot in life. One of them has a disability so taking care of others is somehting I have always been passionate about. I am a college student at Baylor University currently enrolled in the Honors College as a History major. Throughout high school, I tutored in my free time to bring in some extra money for my single-parent household. I first started tutoring approximately four years ago as a free lance tutor. Then I moved into teaching math at a Mathnasium center where I specialized in upper-level high school math. I worked there until I left for college, so about two years. Now I tutor in math for the Baylor student-athletes and hope to tutor some more in my spare time. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I am comfortable tutoring in algebra, geometry, algebra II, and pre-calculus.

Excellent in Math and can tutor any student to Calculus
I have always been a fan of math. Growing up, it was my favorite subject, so naturally I became an engineer. It was in college that I realized that math came easier to me than most. I never got less than an "A" any math class (except that one class I forgot to drop, oops!). As such, I often tutored my classmates after class, which is how I realized that I am particularly adept at algebra/pre-algebra and explaining concepts in an easy to understand way.
I tutor elementary through High school, all subjects. I especially concentrate on middle to high school math and science. I have 34 years of teaching experience and always search for the most effective learning style, for the student.
I love math that's why I am doing alternative certification to be a math teacher and I hold now a probationary certification to teach math 4th through 8th grades.
