I am a 20 year old college student currently pursuing a degree in Health Sciences at Purdue Univeristy. I graduated high school in 2018 with a 4. 0 GPA. I plan to attend medical school when I complete my undergraduate studies. I am seeking to aid those in need of academic assistance. Whether that be homework help, tutoring in a specific subject, providing study materials, etc. The subjects I have listed on my profile are all subjects that I have completed courses in with in A either in high school, college, or both. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions! I would prefer to work online through video chat or other methods, but if you live within walking or biking distance of me (or a public place you'd like to meet at) I am more than willing to do that as well!
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, being active, and serving at my church. I am very passionate about missions and hope to one day live abroad as a missionary using my medical skills to serve. I spent the last two summers living in Haiti working with a mission in the northwest zone. I had planned to do so this summer, but with COVID-19 was not able to do so. Thus, I am looking to work this summer.
I look forward to getting to know you and hopefully assist you with whatever you may need!

I have tutored in the subject many, many times! I have completed college General Bio 1 and 2, and microbiology! I plan to be a physician! In fact, while I was working on my www.*** degree, I was both a lead Biology tutor as well as a remedial mathematics tutor (algebra, intro to algebra, pre-calculus). This was in addition to tutoring Government and www.*** History, as well as some European History (I had taken the www.*** examinations and received a 4 on each, giving me a total of 18 credit hours!). I really love to teach United States History and Government. I was also the "most recommended" tutor for 4 months straight!
Biology is absolutely my forte. I love everything about it, and truly enjoy teaching it while relating it to how we operate as humans, why we do the things we do, www.*** It's just enchanting!
My methods are very straightforward:
1.) I will assess and ask questions about your troubles in the subject. This will allow me to see where you're at.
2.) After my assessment, I will often ask questions about your preferred learning style. For example, if you're a visual learner, I will use the e-whiteboard and figures to help you understand better. I am here to tutor you and absolutely tailor a plan for you!
3.) Once I have all the information I need, I will formulate a lesson plan. I will create a map from "You Start Here," all the way till "Congratulations!" I will create a simple, yet effective, plan to ensure you're gaining www.*** ;
4.) While we are studying together, I will perform "spot checks," or little mini-quizzes. This isn't to put any pressure on you, but I simply want to know that you are understanding the concepts, setting you up for success!!!
*** Never, ever, ever feel bashful and afraid to ask questions! Questions are what keep academia alive! I will always ask if you are understanding, but you have to be sure that you are asking questions, too!
Contact me for any reason! If you need help in a subject in general, or a specific part, I'm here!
Future Doctor here!!

I am currently a senior in high school and have decided to take up tutoring not only to help others succeed, but to earn a few extra bucks doing so. I have received scores of 5s on all the subjects I offer to tutor (plus a perfect 800/800 on the SAT world history subject test). I have received these scores through taking them in school and preparing for them on my own outside of class, and would say that anyone has the potential to succeed in whatever they choose to take with a little preparation and help. I'd love to help anyone who has lofty academic goals, such as myself .
(My only downfall: AP Physics 1.)

Hi, my name is Madison and I am a freshman at Florida State University. I graduated high school with a www.*** GPA and as an active participant in my school's Advanced Placement program. Throughout my high school career, I took the following AP courses: Language and Composition, Psychology, Macroeconomics, Art History, English Literature, Studio, Government, and Thinking skills. Receiving 4's and 5's on all of my AP exams. I pride my success in these courses on my study methods and test guides, two things I would love to share with anyone I tutor. With a holistic understanding of each of my designated subjects I would love the opportunity to help anyone struggling in these fields and leave my tutoring sessions with studying tips they can apply to any subject regardless of the one they are receiving tutoring for.

I am a recent college graduate, who has spent the past 4 years devouring any sort of information about Political Science and History. As someone who has a learning disability themself (ADHD), I believe I am more than qualified to tutor and connect with students who possess ADD or ADHD as well. Going through school, I always wished I had a teacher that "got" the way that I worked, and I aim to be that kind of tutor in my professional life. As a tutor, I won't just hammer information into a student's head, rather I will work with them to make sure that they fully understand and digest the complicated world of Politics as well as the long winding tale of History.
My minor in college was Creative Writing, with a special emphasis on historical and political analysis of literary texts. As a tutor, I will work to instill a mind of critical analysis into my student, and help them develop their own creative voice.

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read about my tutoring services. My name is Tom www.*** I am currently a high school teacher at a private school. I have been teaching for 20+ years. Most of that time was at the high school level. However, I have also taught at the middle school level. I am most comfortable teaching in the social studies subjects. In particular, I have taught AP US History, AP Government, World History, and Economics. In addition, I have taught elementary mathematics, high school algebra I, geometry, elementary science, basic computer skills, and Catholic theology. As a high school teacher, I also have my students complete research papers.
As a result of my tutoring, my students have generally seen success. I've had students go from F's to A's in a few weeks. One of the reasons for this is that I create learning experiences that fit each individuals learning modality. I can create kinestic based lesson and lessons that work with multiple learning modalities. In addition, I teach students how to study and how to set reasonable goals that are achieveable creating a growth mindset in my students. This accelerates learning and promotes a positive self-esteem.
Thank you for your consideration. I can provide evidence of my degrees, credentials, etc. upon request.

I have always been interested and passionate about history. I had my nose stuck in my history book in fifth grade and have loved learning about how our world has gotten where it is today. My senior year of high school I had five AP history courses and passed all five exams with a max score on two, Government and European History, and fours on the rest. I had graduated high school with my first two years of my undergraduate degree. I currently am a Political Science student at UCF and will be graduating in 2019. I have tutored my classmates in history starting my junior year in American History, and have helped my peers in everything from World History all the way through my American Presidency course at UCF this semester. I have been certified by AP exams as very qualified(A rating of 4) in World History, American History, Macro Economics, Micro Economics, and extremely qualified (A five rating) in American Government and European History.
