My intellectual curiosity, love of learning, and desire to positively impact the lives of others ultimately lead me into the field of education. I believe that the purpose of education is to equip an individual with the necessary tools to problem solve, effectively communicate, and think critically. The quality of education that children receive in their early years is pivotal to their development and success later in life.
I am currently working as a Kindergarten teacher in an inclusive classroom for Baltimore City Public Schools. I hold two Maryland Educator Certificates, in Elementary Education and Special Education. In May 2016, I completed the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Johns Hopkins University. I also have experience working with students with Autism and other special needs.
I believe that as a teacher, I contribute to the development of dynamic and engaging learning environments for students. I look forward to working with your child/student!

Hello! My name is Robyn, I am 26, and I am immunodeficient, making work difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic, so working from home as a tutor is my best bet at making income. I graduated in 2016 with a degree in Philosophy & Theology/Religion. I'm willing to tutor for subjects such as reading, writing, spelling, phonics, and religious studies. General homework assistance is also available. I am also offering storytelling, as I studied theater and spent a lot of time immersing myself in interactive, interesting, and fun storytelling methods to keep the kiddos occupied and laughing! I offer video chat through Facebook, but I'm open to Skype should that better suit you.
