hello, i am currently a highschool student who loves kids and has 4 siblings, i would love to tutor your kid!
Hello, my name is Connor www.*** I have always enjoyed mathematics and physics. I am currently attending college at Cal Poly Pomona to receive a bachelors degree in applied mathematics, in order to become a math professor. I have been a paid tutor for 3 years, but I have tutored friends and family members since the sixth grade, so I thought this would be a great job for me. I like to use imagery and real life examples to help students not just know how to do the problem, but to understand WHY it works. I work well with kids and I love all kinds of animals. Although my main expertise is mathematics I do have a very good understanding of entry level physics. I am available Mondays and Wednesdays from 6am to 11am, also Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm to 6pm. For more information please contact me through my phone: ( tel: ***
My name is Hayley R., and I am a first-year student at Cal Poly Pomona with an Animal Science major and a specialization in Pre-Veterinary sciences.
I love science, especially biology because it is fascinating to know how life works! I am in a Biology class now that focuses on cell and organelle function, plus I was in several science classes in High School, such as General Biology and Anatomy.
I have always received excellent grades in English class, and I was told by my professor last quarter that I received one of the best essay grades in the class! I hope I can share some of these writing skills with you!
I am also a big fan of math, and I have been in several math classes, such as Algebra One and Two, Geometry, and Statistics, those of which I have gotten a high grade in.
I, myself, think that I am a kind person (as all my friends tell me) and I am incredibly understanding and patient. In the past, I have needed a tutor, and I felt as if they were judging my work and getting frustrated with me, but I know that school can be challenging, and I would never get upset at someone for making a mistake. Mistakes are a part of life, and they help lead to success!
I hope to hear from you!
Here, our services go over at a slow pace to ensure that our students understands the curriculum. Our teaching is very flexible, allowing the child to go slower in difficult subjects while challenging previously known knowledge. Your child will be able to excell in no time!
For my math students, I hope to make sure they understand. Anybody can memorize something, but to understand is just exceeding that standard. I'll begin by giving a simple problem in most instances that I'll have them look over and use their logical systemic approach to examine with. They'll use their logic to examine, and if they get it right, great! If they make mistakes, it's great too, because now we can go over it during the lesson to show what to do and why!
For my English students, I want them to use their imagination. Books and writings are based off imagination, not knowledge. You can take as much information as possible, but if you have no way to imagine how you'll present that, then it won't work. My teaching in this subject will go over this, and I hope I can improve their skills throughout the course.
I have worked with a family member who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), so I did work with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapists for about three years, but I have no problem working with any other students.
I feel very happy to teach, so I do not hope for mush. I wish to mainly teach online through Zoom primarily so that I can show the work since I do not wish to use my source of transportation to travel many distances as I'm a minor. I would set a standard of twelve dollars an hour, the minimum for minimum wages in California.
I am college graduate from Chaffey College.
I majored in nursing so I am good at science subjects.
I have been tutoring students in Maths for over 2 years now. I write college essays as well and do online homework.
French is my first language so I am fluent and absolutely willing to teach others as well.

My experience includes being a peer tutor for people in my classes for two years, tutoring the ages of 7-14 for one and a half years, and serving as a peer counselor assisting peers in college applications which required tutoring and counseling training. I am passionate about education and helping others succeed. My goal is to find ways to incorporate different learning styles into various activities to ensure everyone understands their material rather than just be told to learn it. With any of my past or future experience, I hope to make a big step towards my goal and know that expanding what I know can be accomplished. For example, in my University (University of California-Davis), I learn how to care for animals, network, write journalism articles and creative pieces, and most importantly, teach others various subjects. I am eager to learn, adapt, engage, and, most of all, be a great tutor.
I have been learning Japanese, in a school setting, for three years. I have learned outside of school through various apps and friends. I have maintained a 4 .0 (sometimes 4 .5)gpa throughout all of middle and high school. Last year, I helped a japanese foreign exchange student with every subject. Throughout the school years, many students have asked me for assistance with their homework- I guess you could say I've been tutoring for free! So, I thought I would start getting paid to do something I love. I also offer childcare services for 0-12 years old.

Hello, my name is Ariadne C. I am a tutor for basic math for younger kids. I am 16 years old.
Math is something I specialize in because it is all about recognizing patterns and analyzing it to figure out more difficult problems. I have helped students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, SAT and ACT math under a year, but I have helped my fellow peers in the subjects to better understand and remember the subject matter.
I know the best way to tutor and I think the best tutor should help the student not ever need a tutor again. I provide the first lesson free, so see if I'm a good fit and I will be available until you don't need me anymore.
I have taught two students before, one for Spanish and the other for math. I can teach students of all ages, and I also have experience being a TA at a nearby Chinese school. I have also worked as a volunteer for a Microsoft program that focuses on teaching kids how to code. I've maintained a high GPA for all 4 years, and I have also participated in a host family program in Japan for 3 weeks, so I am very familiar and passionate about the language. I am a native speaker of both English and Chinese as well.

I'm a Neuroscience Major UCR student with a minor in Education. I have tutored for over 2 years in Bio, Chem, and Vietnamese.
I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology from SDSU and was on the pre-med track so have a lot of experience with Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biology. I was frequently the one holding review sessions for my peers the night before an exam. In the following years, I attained about 3 years of tutoring experience. There is no greater satisfaction than seeing a concept or theory click with a student. I have also learned to appreciate that each student has a unique learning style and am very capable of tailoring my teaching style to their wants and needs.
