Hello! My name is Cavin A., and I am a high school graduate seeking employment online as a tutor! While I may be working an additional summer job, I will be actively updating my schedule to display my availability, and I am more than happy to try and work around your schedules and accomodate your needs if possible. Thanks!
I have taught adult education in the subjects of veterinary technology, EMT and motorcycle safety. I have a BA in Geography Earth Science and minors in Biology, Geology and Education. I have a GIS Certificate. I also studied Chemistry and Physics. I was a General Biology TA in college and taught Biology lab I and II for two semesters. I was a Learning Assistant for Biology I, II and Physical Geography.
My name is Bridget! I was born and raised in Breckenridge, CO, so I love to play outside and go on adventures. I am a student at CSU, where I am studying to get my degree in Biology. I am on the pre-med track, so I am very interested in the sciences. Because of the craziness, my classes are fully online, which enables me to have a lot of free time. Hopefully, I can use this extra time to help out those struggling in these crazy times. I graduated . I also have my Red cross-certificate in first aid and I am fully certified to be a nurse assistant. My hours are extremely flexible to what you need most! Since I am a student I know what learning techniques work for me and others. I can relate to needing an extra nudge with some subjects. My energy and passion for learning help me as a tutor to keep kids engaged and learn in new ways.
I am currently a Biology major at the University of Wyoming Casper. I work part-time in the microbiology department as a lab intern. We are currently studying the phenomenon antibiotic resistance. Along with my internship, I am also currently a Teaching Assistant (TA) in the microbiology department and have worked as a TA in the biology department as well. TAing requires a certain level of knowledge and tutoring skills as we are responsible for grading work and helping students with labs and studying. I love working with students to improve their knowledge on a subject! I love science and I love sharing the knowledge I have - if sharing what I know helps a student succeed in a subject, it's even better!
I am currently a 4th year Biology major. That being said i have taken an extensive amount of science courses since beginning college. A few of classes I have taken and performed well in are: General Biology, Animal Biology, Bioethics, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Gross Anatomy, Genetics, and Anthropology. All of these classes are very different from one another but also fit together nicely when looking at "the big picture." I thoroughly enjoyed these classes and love passing the knowledge I have gotten from them on to others!
I love my major and the classes that I am taking! I would love to help you discover useful tools to help make learning these subjects easier and more enjoyable! My subjects listed are very broad, but I am willing to do specialty tutoing in any of the classes as I have listed above. My pricing is per hour is also negotiable. Please contact me have any questions or would like more information on what I can offer!
