I am a former educator who strive to create an educational environment that is welcoming, supportive, and nurturing to my students. Student-centeredness is very important to my teaching approach so that I can cater to the academic needs of my students. For three years, I taught History, Political Science, and International Relations. Moreover, I tutored students in English, History, and Political Science at elementary school and college level. Seeing my students achieve their academic goals made me immensely proud of their unwavering determination, diligence, and self-motivation. Such instances reinvigorate my passion for teaching.
Hello! I'm Marlee. I plan on teaching music when I'm older. I've been tutoring in math for about a year now. I know that I don't have as mauch experience as some other tutor, but I promise that I will do my best to help you or your child be the best students they can be. I can teach, math up to junior year of high school, elementary language arts, elementary science, elementary American history, elementary music, beginning clarinet, and beginning Spanish. I love working with kids, and I just want some hands on teaching experience. We can discuss prices and times if you're interested.
You can choose from different ACT/SAT packages based on how much time you have before the tests. Pre and post test included. I use a professional program purchased by a prestigious and exclusive training school based out of Chicago. A personal favor from the author of the books. I am located in Houston,TX.
Hello, I have been tutoring and helping children for around 18 months now in various settings – tutoring small and large groups, and private individual tutoring. I mainly tutor Elementary and middle school level in most subjects including Maths, English and Science, and High School Psychology, Science and English. I also can help with SATs prep, SOLs and essay editing or support as well as College application or general university advice. I can also help with coursework/homework in all subjects in term of checking for grammar and punctuation and general flow of the coursework piece. In my previous tutoring placement at a school I, along with the teachers ensured that all the students were able to pass their SATs, an achievement that the school had never accomplished. This proves my dedication towards each child ensuring that they are able to achieve their goals to the best of their ability. Please let me know if you have any questions and would love to work with you!
