Hello! Everyone!
I am a passionate, committed and innovative teacher. My mission statement has always been "learn through fun for life". Having experience for over 10 through 15 years, I have taught all levels of students in many settings of education, teaching and learning along the way and embracing new methodologies www.*** ;
Being a montessori teacher and having an out of the box outlook to the learning process, I make sure to give my students an experience of learning with a proactive, productive and positive adventure while in my classroom.
Having a flare for drama has been an asset while I teach, as my training in Helen O'grady drama, a character development program, makes the learning and teaching even more enjoyable.
I am looking forward to being your tutor and teacher soon.
Sunshine wishes!

Hello! I would love to help you (or you child) foster a love for learning and further your education! Whether you're falling behind in a class, looking to get ahead, or pursuing an outside interest, I'm the person for you! I am currently a high school student with over 6 years of experience in childcare and teaching. I have worked with both neurotypical and neurodivergent students and believe I am well equipped to help students of all skill levels and abilities. I am currently a private music instructor and a daycare teacher, throughout the stay at home order for the Covid-19 pandemic, I worked for a family as a 1-on-1 tutor to help their children (6 and 14) with online/distance learning. I have a passion for music and believe it to be an important tool to be used when learning/teaching new subjects. I am always looking to learn more and approach every opportunity to educate myself further. Your tutoring session will be tailored to you, if you learn better through conversation and the socratic method, then we'll do that! If you learn better through worksheets and tests, that is exactly what we'll do. Upon graduating high school, I'm planning on pursuing a degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Eduation from Bowling Green State University with a minor in music performance! I have a weighted GPA of www.*** and recieved a 31 on my ACT. Please feel free to email me at ***@*** com with any questions/comment/concerns you may have! I look forward to getting to know you and/or your student, and learning together!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I'm working with new students who are in High School or below. I like to usually set down with both the parents and the student to talk about what might be some major concerns that they might have. And try to start off by reviewing what they already know and work from there.
When I'm working with college students. I will usually talk to them about their majors and what they are planning on doing in the future to try and relate to them the best I can.
No matter what age group I'm working with. I'm always trying to find ways to relate what they like to science so they can link positive things to the subject at hand
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a Biology Major at Zane State College. I work with students one on one and in groups. To help break down the chapter subjects that are being asked of them to understand.
I'm a Regional and a State Judge for The Ohio Academy of Science. Where I got to learn and question the projects that the middle schoolers- high schoolers presented.
What types of students have you worked with?
Middle school
High School
Traditional College students
Non-Traditional College Students
Kids and adults with IEP's and other accommodations
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Even If something seems hard. There is always another way of learning it. Don't stop because you don't understand it the first try.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Is it the coursework or just the teaching method you don't understand when being explained something.

I offer online sessions with standard Mandarin Chinese and simplified Chinese characters. There are two types of sessions that I provide. One is homework help, exam preparation, etc. You can send me the documents that you want to work on. The other type of session that I do is one-hour-long structured lessons with vocabulary, sentences, dialogues, etc. I follow a set curriculum and use PowerPoint presentations for the sessions. You also have the option to order the textbook online to go with your study. I teach both everyday Chinese and Business Chinese.
I have worked with students from 6 to 80 years old, ranging from K-12, college, working and retired adults, and homeschooled students. Right now I am specialized in beginner Chinese. My passion is to be a language teacher. I think it would be great if I could help you learn Chinese while doing what I love. I am patient, easygoing, and punctual. I can be flexible with the schedule, too. I live in the Eastern Time Zone and my availability can be found on my profile. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

English was my second language but i know more of it then arbic. I love reading and enjoy teaching it. I enjoy teaching english (spelling, speaking, & writing) and just helping teenagers & kids in general.
I used to help teach english in after school programs and with my relatives that had just came into www.*** ;
English is an easy subject to me and ive always gotten (A+) through out the year. I have won a few spelling bees and used to be in journalism and take advanced classes.
I enjoy seeing kids understand what they are reading and learning and going to school because they want to not because they are obligated to. I like the satisfaction of knowing a kid is fully understanding what they are learning.

Accomplished bilingual (Spanish-English) higher education Full Professor with a doctorate in Electrical
Engineering and 20+ years of higher education teaching experience in a variety of subjects such as Statistics. A creative facilitator
of learning. Seeking to leverage my breadth of cross-functional expertise and multidisciplinary
knowledge to help the achievement of my students' learning goals.
My preferred teaching method is "learner-centered." My role is to facilitate learning rather than
delivering teaching, by putting principles and my own experience into practice in order to
encourage and support the students to take responsibility for their own learning. Besides being
a source of knowledge, as a learning facilitator, I guide the students towards resources and
sources of knowledge. From the beginning, I set clear goals and objectives, require active
participation from the students and provide constant assessment and feedback.
