I started tutoring in high school when my friends were really struggling. I found that getting to know a persons interests, hobbies, etc. is one of the best tools to helping some understand a subject. I have a heart for mat, but an even bigger heart for the success of students. As a current college student, I would love to gain experience in teaching. Most importantly, I want to serve and get to know students and their families.
It would be an honor to help you!

Hello parents my name is Katie! Welcome to my page,
I am a tutor i have tutored children in my neighborhood, but when COVID-19 hit parents in my neighborhood needed their little ones somewhere to go and something to do, so i started doing little class lessons with them while the parents were working it was amazing to see little minds learn, now with parents going back to work and kids in school you may have a little one that wants to go to "school" like their older siblings they may see their older siblings do e-learning and wanna join. nothing wrong with that right ? well message me at any time and ill set up a zoom meeting and your child or children due to zoom allows more then one person in at a time and we will get to keeping little ones busy. and give mom and dad a break for www.*** ;
You all have a great day, looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello! My name is Lydia and I'm an academically strong junior with 5+ years of tutoring other students. I received full scores on both of the math sections of the PSAT in 2019 and a 5 out of 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam in May 2020. This year, I am taking both AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics & www.*** ;
I strive to help my students develop a deeper understanding of the content they are learning, not just the ability to mindlessly copy steps without knowing what they're really doing. Parents love that I keep everything for their student organized in a Google Sheet (sort of a parent portal), so they can easily access payment records, lesson reports, and additional notes/practices for their students via the linked Drive folder. Everything I do is customized and parents can choose what type of tutoring they would like me to perform-- simple homework help, teaching or reteaching a lesson, filming and sending short videos of problems that students can replay on their own time, etc. I work well with below level, on level, and gifted students as I have worked with dozens of students, including some with special needs, who struggle to grasp mathmatical concepts and need them explained in different ways and/or visualized, but I was classified as a gifted student myself, testing into several gifted programs in elementary school and ultimately skipping a grade in middle school.
For the time being, I am only doing online tutoring via Zoom-- it is the safest way to tutor during the pandemic and just as effective as in person tutoring since I can use custom created slideshows and annotation tools to walk students through problems.

Thank you for coming to my tutor profile! My name is Zack, and I am a tutor that specializes in Mathematics, Science, and Writing. I aspire to be an astrophysicist at NASA, but tutoring is something I will never give up! Learning is a very important part of life, but it is equally as important in the educational system. However, it is very frustrating to not be able to comprehend subjects and also not knowing what resources you can take advantage of. We've all been there before; you are not alone!!! That is where I come in. I find there to be nothing more enjoyable than guiding people of all different ethnicities, cultures, and educational history to success. The joy of seeing people grow while tutoring is one of the main reasons I decided to start in the first place. As your tutor, I will work with you to help you have a better, more in-depth understanding of the subject(s) in which you struggle with. It is my goal as a tutor to help you achieve your personal goals, and to find the most constructive way to teach you based upon your learning style and what feels right for you!
