I have an Associates Degree in Kinesiology & Health, with a focus in Personal Training, alongside a national certification to work as a personal trainer throught the American Council on Exercise (A. C. E). I have 3 years of formal schooling of Anatomy, Physiology and Biology and 2 years experience working as an atheltic performance, movement and posture specialist at a boutique gym called Fitness Studio 108 where I currently have a team of personal trainers that i oversee (feel free to look us up). I would love to pass on my advanced knowledge of anatomy & physiology, biology and biomechanics to aid anybody willing to learn.
I graduated from Texas A&M University with my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, but partway through my degree I decided I would go back for a doctorate in physical therapy after my undergrad degree. I'm currently enrolled at TWU in the Houston Med Center. I made A's in all my Anatomy and Biology classes, because Anatomy and biology are awesome! To be honest, I read my entire college biology text book, cover to cover. I'm unabashedly a nerd about it. I love teaching this material as well, because if we have a better understanding of how our body works, we'll make better choices when it comes to taking care of it.
I've been working as a Personal Trainer for a physical therapist for 10 months now, and I have multiple certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
