I can help with English essays, improving punctuation, grammar, etc. mathematics up to algebra 1 (I have taken pre-calculus), homework, standardized testing prep and can also teach piano. I am Vietnamese and have also taken Spanish 3, so I can help with basic Vietnamese and Spanish. I tutor peers at my school during lunch and am able to explain concepts to help them understand. As a high school student, I am able to easily connect with people and will do my best.

I have more than twelve thousand hours of experience teaching the English, Hindi and Urdu languages and am always excited to work with new students. When teaching I always strive to be well-prepared, patient and adaptive to each individual's needs and I am comfortable working with students using both communicative as well as more grammar-based teaching www.*** addition to general language teaching, I also specialize in test preparation classes for the TOEFL, IELTS and OPIc English proficiency tests. I also work with Hindi and Urdu students who are preparing for foreign service exams in the US or www.*** earned my TESOL certification from Seattle University in 2008 and am currently working on a Masters in Teaching with an emphasis on English Language Learning (ELL). I think what sets me apart as an English language teacher is the fact that I have become fluent in second languages myself and know what it's like to live in an entirely different www.*** Hindi and Urdu studies began in 2006 at the University of Washington where I was given a strong foundation in the pronunciation and grammar of the languages. Four intensive quarters of study there was followed by the American Institute of Indian Studies' (AIIS) Advanced Hindi Language Program in Jaipur, India where I did two intensive, advanced-level programs back-to-back. I was then hired by AIIS as the first-ever non-native speaker to teach in their Basic Hindi www.*** 2009, I cofounded a language school in New Delhi (India), which has become a world class place of language learning. I gained more than 10 thousand hours of in-class language instruction experience there, working with students of all ages and backgrounds from dozens of countries. After living and teaching in India for eight years I returned to Seattle with my wife and www.*** am generally available for classes between 8am - 8pm for in-person or online classes.
