I teach many age ranges going from early Elementary all the way up to high school and freshmen in college. I try to respond to my tutor students as SOON as I see their messages but sometimes it doesn't always work out that way! So I am going to put my email here ***@*** in case I don't get back to you within 12 hours. I try my best to do so but you know how life is!
I have a flexible class schedule at the moment but I tend to have classes mid-morning to early afternoon (about 10 am to 12:30 pm) as of right now. Things change every quarter though so but I am very flexible and I can even work on weekends! I hope to hear from you all soon and we can make something work!

I am a former educator who strive to create an educational environment that is welcoming, supportive, and nurturing to my students. Student-centeredness is very important to my teaching approach so that I can cater to the academic needs of my students. For three years, I taught History, Political Science, and International Relations. Moreover, I tutored students in English, History, and Political Science at elementary school and college level. Seeing my students achieve their academic goals made me immensely proud of their unwavering determination, diligence, and self-motivation. Such instances reinvigorate my passion for teaching.
I have been a student of history since I was a toddler listening to my father tell stories of Greek heroes. Since then I have studied almost every era and nation of human history is some detail with my specialties being European and American history. It was this interest in American history that got me into studying goverment, and get a Masters' degree in financial management. The study of history goes hanad in hand with the study of geography, and have no less than two maps of the world hanging in my room. I listen to podcasts on history daily, as well as watching videos on the subject when I can. I have never formally tutored but I often teach old and young alike in their people's past.

I am a recent college graduate, who has spent the past 4 years devouring any sort of information about Political Science and History. As someone who has a learning disability themself (ADHD), I believe I am more than qualified to tutor and connect with students who possess ADD or ADHD as well. Going through school, I always wished I had a teacher that "got" the way that I worked, and I aim to be that kind of tutor in my professional life. As a tutor, I won't just hammer information into a student's head, rather I will work with them to make sure that they fully understand and digest the complicated world of Politics as well as the long winding tale of History.
My minor in college was Creative Writing, with a special emphasis on historical and political analysis of literary texts. As a tutor, I will work to instill a mind of critical analysis into my student, and help them develop their own creative voice.
