I graduated from Princeton Unversity, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering in Spring 2018. I am currently applying to medical schools, but have always had a passion for teaching - whereas I began tutoring other students - both younger and the same age as I - as a freshman in high school. I continued during my summer breaks from college, even though I had various internships and research jobs. I am working full-time (40 hours a week) as a clinical research assistant at CHOP, but would love to continue to teach on the side! I love working with everyone from children to young adults. I am willing to work out location, hours, and what services I am willing to provide, depending on the student -- this includes via skype for interested students that are not in the Philadelphia area. Please contact me for interest and pricing and I am sure we can work something out!

I have been educating for over 16 years where I started as a preschool teacher at my local vocational school when I was junior and senior in High School. During this experience, I knew I loved helping students learned and wanted to be a teacher. Since then, I have gained more experience tutoring students one-on-one and in small settings to ensure they receive the attention they need to succeed. Today, I am not in a general classroom but I still do what I a can to help my students reach their academic goals.

Although I am young, like I said in my short description I have a good amount of experience. My sister has special needs and I take care of her everyday while my mom is either at work or running erands. Also, I have a neighbor who lets me babysit her neice and nephew. Also, I am in the National Honor Society at my school, so I have been recognized for my skills in academics, responsibility, and empathy and compassion. I take high level classes, such as AP Language and Composition, AP US history, French 4 Honors, and Pre Calc whic his one of the highest level maths in the school, which I am taking all of these classes as a Junior and am maintaining beyond satisfactory grades. Although I am young, I feel like your child could be safe with me and feel like they will be more comfortable being tutored or babysat by someone closer to their age, who can relate to them and talk to them and have a good time with them. Please consider hiring me, as I will not disappoint!

I am a trained tutor with a BA in Written Arts and Classical Studies, and 4+ years of experience tutoring students of all ages. I work particularly on supporting students as they develop writing, reading, and studying skills. In my work I meet students where they are in their academic process and collaborate with them to build achievable goals. I work to change student outcomes--not just the grade on one paper or test; this work is not simply editing, but rather engaging with the roots of students’ academic struggles and joys and building up from there. I believe in supporting students as they interrogate their own academic processes and their own ideas--and do this by leading them through rounds of Socratic questioning, free writing, and showing examples of model work. I have worked at the Bard College Learning Commons as a tutor for over four years, where I have been a peer tutor and Writing Fellow. I am also TESOL certified and have worked at Bard College as an ELL specific tutor. Through the Bard Prison Initiative, I have gained experience working with "non-traditionally aged" students. I am now employed by Bard College as the Tutor Coordinator, a job that allows me not only to tutor, but also to support, collaborative with, and hold training workshops for the undergraduate tutors at the college.

To Whom it May Concern:
I am interested in applying for an elementary-level teaching position in your school district. As a 2014 I have been working in education. I started as a paraprofessional in a one-on-once capacity with a student with Autism. After three years, and my student’s readiness to be on their own, I moved for a short time into the Life Skills program. At that time, I was going to be going into student teaching at the elementary level. So, this past fall (2017) I transferred schools to an elementary school as a classroom paraprofessional in second grade. I worked with a class in the paraprofessional capacity, finishing up my Masters courses. While I was working (September through December break) I was responsible for a small math intervention group as well as my classroom duties.
In January 2018 I began my student teaching. While there I implemented a new classroom management system (Classroom Dojo). I also immediately took over a math and reading intervention group.
I finished my student teaching experience April 20th, 2018. I will be graduating May 12th with my Masters of Elementary Education. I have had over 100 observational hours before I started my student teaching. These observations ranged from kindergarten through sixth grade. My certification has been issued by the state of New Hampshire.
I believe my teaching experience and passion learning and classroom engagement make me an ideal candidate to make a positive impression on your educational experience.

Hi, my name is Maricela www.*** I am 16 years old and a proud student at Danbury High School. I am an early graduate (which means I am graduating as a junior). My goal is to touch the minds of many students.
My favorite subject is Math which means every lesson will be introduced with lots of preparation. I tutor in all levels of math from Beginner to High School (Geometry and Algebra l & ll. The pace of each lesson is tailored to each individual student. I believe that to properly learn, you have to work at your own pace.
I am 100% Hispanic. My mother was born in Guatemala and my father was born in El Salvador. My first language ever spoken was Spanish and I learned English quickly after. I tutor in Spanish for all ages. If you are interested, I will tutor you! Because of my ethnic background, each lesson presented will have a touch of traditional values tied in.
I volunteer once a week at a daycare and have gained much experience along the way. I love children and babies of all shapes and sizes. I do not discriminate on race, gender or special needs. All children are amazing.
If the prices are an issue, contact me and I will see what I can do. All prices are negotiable! I don't want money to be the barrier of knowledge or a night out.
I look forward to working with you!

I am very patient and strive to make learning a pleasant experience. I am always open to suggestions when introducing new methods of learnnig techniques. Afterwards, I make sure to give students enough time to practice the material on their own. Of couse, this method can be modified as based on the subject and students' individual needs. I am very persistent in teaching them how to gain confindence in themselves as they learn and fall in love with the foreing languge. My main focus is and has always been that my students benefit as much as they can from the material I teach. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to schedule a lesson.

I have been working as a volunteer teacher and tutor since 2013. I have experience working with students ages 4-20. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and hope to nurture a love for learning in all of my students. One of my greatest wishes is that one day, thorough education will be provided for ALL children.
A little bit about me:
I grew up in a little town in the Bay Area of California. When I was a child, my family and I moved to San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico, to do volunteer work. It was here, with its rich art history and gorgeous natural beauty, that I discovered my love for travel and the benefits that nature and creativity can have when implemented into education. Although I love California and Mexico, I also love upstate New York, which has been my home for the past five years. I love the outdoors and making art in my spare time, and I am a huge animal lover!
I hope that you will choose me to help educate your child, and I look forward to working with you! I will do my very best to meet any of your child's needs.
