I am an undergraduate student at North Carolina State University planning to go to medical school. Pursuing a double major in undergraduate will prepare me for the rigorous medical school curriculum. I have tutored my classmates and young kids since the past three years. I love helping students understand the mysteries and science and solve problems that they think are challenging. I like guiding a student to the solution and most of my students. I feel accomplished when my student understands the convoluted meanings of sensational www.*** have tutored students in all the core subjects at the elementary and middle school level. I tutor students in biology, chemistry, math (all levels), environmental science, organic chemistry, physics, calculus, and statistics at the high school and college level.
My techniques of helping my students strengthen their basics and guiding them to the solution by questioning their questions would make me the tutor that you want. My strong math foundation and exposure to all college level math courses helps me analyze the methodology of the most math courses and help you find the solution.
As a pre-med and student I possess a passion for science and teaching science. I have tutored students in organic chemistry, biology, chemistry, microbiology, and physics at my university and high school classmates. I would love to help my students better understand the sciences and help them get where they want to be. I feel like I have experience to help students with science along with a fair amount of knowledge that I have acquired,
I would love to tutor you whenever you are available in the mornings and I would like to know the topics you need help in so I can prepare the lesson well. I like planning ahead of time so we can get where we have to be in the long-term. As for the short-term I would still like to know what you need help in so I can plan how to help you.

I am a professional math and history tutor at my university. I have been tutoring since I was in the 6th grade. I am qualified to tutor pre-school through college-level math and history classes. Too many times I have heard from my students that they are not good in a subject, but with consistency and hard work anyone can be great in school. I would like to help along the way. I am available to tutor online and in person. Please fill free to email me if you have any question, comments or concerns ***@***

I am a trained teacher with a diploma in education, BA in History and a Master's in Government. I have over 30 years' teaching and tutoring experience. AS as a tutor I do one on one counseling with my students to keep them organized and focused.
I have several years' public speaking experience mainly gained through Toastmasters International. I am a past president of the Minutemen Toastmasters Club with vast public speaking experience.
My tutoring style includes a few minutes of lecturing. I have found that having discussions with my students, having them complete assignments and then reviewing these assignments with them is the best method. I encourage my students to be proactive, asks questions and help them to reason through topics for themselves to ensure that they have grasped the concepts.
In addition, no teaching style works for all students so I always make sure to adapt my methods to the learning style of my student. After all, the most important thing is to make sure my students grasp the concepts and develop the ability to complete tasks independently.

Hi, my name is Danielle Z. and I am a senior at UNCG! I was a double major in Elementary Education and Special Education for 3 years and I am now studying Media Studies. My heart has always been with teaching children, but I switched majors when the double major became too much to handle! I worked for the Carolinian, UNCG's newspaper, for two years, serving on the Sports, Features and News staffs. My Philosophy: While teaching, I feel that it is necessary to share my gifts and talents in the classroom as well as with others who may need extra help. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring and helping kids see their maximum potential in their learning. I want to continue tutoring throughout the summer as well as into the school year. This area of education is crucial to me, and I want to make sure that the kids I work with understand the content better as to when they had started working with me. My Tutoring Experience: I have worked with children from 1st-3rd grade in all subject areas. I have worked with 4th-8th graders on study skills to prepare them or help them succeed in both middle school (6th-8th) or high school (9th-12th). I have worked with students in middle school in almost all subject areas, including but not limited to: English, writing, social studies, science, and religion. Tutoring and COVID-19: In these times of uncertainty, it has become clear to me that many parents are not comfortable with their children returning to the classroom. Therefore, I would like to offer my services regardless if a student is attending school regularly, as in face to face or if they are going to be engaging in remote learning (i. e. virtual). I understand the reality that many parents have full-time jobs and can't take on an entirely new job: becoming their child's full-time teacher. I know it is common for many young children to become easily distracted, thus it will be my job to guide individuals through their virtual schooling and keep them on track. Additionally, I am flexible about where you would want tutoring to take place. For instance, I can come to you, you can come to me, or we can use a platform such as Zoom to ensure your child is getting what they need.
