I graduated from Princeton Unversity, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering in Spring 2018. I am currently applying to medical schools, but have always had a passion for teaching - whereas I began tutoring other students - both younger and the same age as I - as a freshman in high school. I continued during my summer breaks from college, even though I had various internships and research jobs. I am working full-time (40 hours a week) as a clinical research assistant at CHOP, but would love to continue to teach on the side! I love working with everyone from children to young adults. I am willing to work out location, hours, and what services I am willing to provide, depending on the student -- this includes via skype for interested students that are not in the Philadelphia area. Please contact me for interest and pricing and I am sure we can work something out!

Hi, my name is Abbey www.*** I have not been tutoring for long, but my strong point is math. I have been a straight A student since first grade, but math has always been my specialty. I have taken Pre-Algebra, Agebra 1, and Geometry, but I would like to help elementary school math or pre-algebra. I am in my school's National Honor Society. My average in math last year was a 106, and this year my final grade is a 103. I enjoy math, and helping younger kids understand what they're learning.

All of the subjects I tutor I have exceeded phenomenally. Whether it is volleyball, a sport I have played for 4 years now, or public speaking which takes part in my daily activism; you can be confident that you'll be getting your money's worth. I am a high school senior currently about to graduate. I have experience in tutoring my selected topics as well as teaching them. I have successfully tutored my peers and have seen them achieve many of the academic and athletic goals they had aspired to reach.

I am a 30 year old educator from New York who has been working as a teaching assistant and tutor for over ten years. My experience ranges between children still in primary school all the way up to college/university level students. I have experience teaching ELA (English Language Arts), Reading, Writing, Essays, College Prep/Admissions, New York State Regents Exams, SAT Prep, Creative Writing, and more. I also have experience tutoring basic Music Theory and elementary school level Mathematics and history, but English is my best subject and also one that I am the most passionate about.
I consider myself to be an empathetic and patient person. I have worked with students from all sorts of backgrounds and walks of life, and my experience has taught me that everyone learns differently. The best approach to teaching is to have patience, empathy, and understanding. If a student doesn't learn something the first time around, then perhaps they simply need it to be explained differently, or to find a method that works the easiest for their personal comprehension and ability.
I am extremely flexible with my time and prices, so please do not hesitate to contact me solely based on the prices you may see posted above. They are absolutely negotiable, as I am more concerned about helping those who need tutoring than a set price range.
I look forward to hearing from you, and look forward to working together to help you reach your personal academic goals! Talk to you soon!

My main objective is to find an easy way to make the student understand the problem. After making the problem understandable, it comes some "math tricks" to find the result. Once the student gets used to this process, my job is done. So let's make problems no problems any more!
