Greetings,
I am a seasoned educator. I own a virtual tutoring company. You can find me on Facebook and Instagram using my companies name "Attention to Intervention with ME". I started my company because I want to provide students with additional resources outside the classroom and ease parents' minds. One-on-one tutoring has proven to assist in the progression of children's education.
I customize each lesson specifically for your child. I teach to your child's needs and make it fun. Virtual learning is of the present and future; take advantage of this great opportunity.

I'm Nicolas! I'm currently working on Associates in Computer Networking. Alongside, I'm also learning how to code using C++. For most of my youth, I've always wanted to learn how network infrastructures are designed and what actually goes on behind the scenes. Yet, when we had to learn how perform network operations using a command-line interface instead of a graphical user interface (GUI), I knew it would be a challenge to me until I knew my professor, fellow students, and myself actively engaged with each other so every task did not seem as complicated as it ought to be. Bringing this style of learning toward my tutoring approach gives the opportunity for students to communicate their opinions and ask questions if need be.
When I helped my fellow peers in class, they always seem to come to me once their frustration gets to a level that they want to give up. When they need help, I made sure they knew the proper steps and information they needed to complete the work properly.
What makes me an outstanding computer tutor is the fact that I like test network topologies in many different sizes so I can understand all the functions a network must have to run properly and efficiently. Given that some Cisco devices can only be modified via a command-line interface, knowing these commands is always essential in those situations that a particular device has no GUI.
I'm also learning this semester on how to utilize C++ to develop command-line programs. Later on this coming spring, I hope to dig in and learn how to create functional GUI programs.
With that, I want to benefit the students I work so they can receive as much aid as possible. I'm new to tutoring, but I've always wanted to answer your questions and also learn the material that I may still struggle with myself. As a life-long learner, definitely feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, and/or concerns or to schedule a lesson!

My family and I just moved to Clarksville last summer! I will be a sophomore at the University of Kentucky in August. I am majoring in Human Health Sciences on the pre-pharmacy track. A majority of my courses consist of math and science courses. I have watched kids as young as 3 months all the way up to age 12. During the school year, I would pick up kids from school and care for them until their parents came home. Over the summers, I would watch the kids from 7 AM - 5 PM. I am comfortable driving with kids in the car as I have experience taking them to and from summer camps, sports practices, clubs, and the pool. I am comfortable preparing meals and enforcing bedtime routines.

Привет!
Hello. I teach how to talk, how to write and how to read in the Russian language at the same time. At first, my students learn how our letters sound and we write them down. Next vocabulary: I give a word, type it in skype for my student, he or she reads it and write it down. This I do with students who can read and write, it means after we learn Russian alphabet.
Plus, I teach my students how to describe their weather (cold, warm, hot, rain, snow, wind - are main words for it). So, my student can tell me about his weather at our second lesson already.
My lessons are VERY EASY!!!! I don't take a lot of grammar rules and first vocabulary we learn with colorful cards. So, pretty quckly my students find out HOW to talk and WHAT to say. I use grammar rules very carefuly (for God sake I'll take a bit more grammar and kid-student loosing his or her interest).I do the same with adults but we take more words to learn. But everything depends on student and his or her target.
I work on my own teaching method for almost 8 years. It's made on consistency of building the vocabulary and grammar rules, that begins with simple word, short sentence and we "create" base of the Russian language knowledge. I spent years of finding logic ideas and plans for my lessons that were based on my own teaching experience and my students' inputs, removing all mistakes and misunderstanding in my lessons, so my lessons are useful, interesting and helpful.
I watch Masha and a Bear with my kids-students, in Russian, it's 10 minutes. We describe the episode later (5 minutes) and take new words and phrases from the show. But I do the same with adult students as well. But it depends only on my student desire or hie or her parent!
I prepare an audio recording with our new words and phrases after each lesson, so students can listen to it any time they want to and repeat everything, plus it's practice of pronunciation. But if my student has Russian parent, the parent can help with practicing new words with just looking at our lesson vocabulary and practicing it with his or her kid, that's why typing all new words is a great idea!

I can help with up to high school level math and college level writing, and have worked with kids and adults of all ages in the past. Honors chemistry was one of my favorite classes in high school as well, and I'd be happy to tutor the subject again. I've spent time volunteering with students whose second language is English, so a language barrier shouldn't be too much of an issue.
