I am currently a college student at Utah State University on scholarship as I work towards my masters in Deaf Elementary Education with a minor in Child Psychology. I love working with kids and teens and have a passion for teaching. I have tutored at an elementary Deaf and Hard of Hearing school in Mesa Arizona using just ASL to communicate. I have also received an award for top student in my ASL skill in high school. I have a passion for this language, culture, and community. I may be young but give me a chance to prove myself with first lesson free! I can't wait to meet you and help you learn so much about ASL and the Deaf community.
I have taught Math to students in grades 9-12 during the last few years. I am very familiar with the Common Core. I can help students with their homework, to studying for tests, to mastering the mathematical content.
I have also earned a Masters degree in Mathematics Teaching. I have taken higher level courses in college, and I can help college students with their math classes, up to Calculus 2.

Hi, my name is X. Shi and I go by Edward. I just graduated from University of Utah with a double major in Video Game Design and Japanese. I've been doing volunteer work for the English Language Institute of the University for a couple of years because most of the students there are Japanese. Thus, I've constantly communicating with Japanese for years. I also took the Practical Japanese Exam (J-Test) and got an A-.
I can teach you anything about Japanese so come to my sessions!
In the past I have helped high school and college students go from a D or C worthy paper to an A paper. I will not only fix grammatical errors, but help the overall flow of the essay. It does not matter if you are writing a research paper for your junior high school English class, or your final paper of your undergrad. I can help you get that A. I am also beginning to proofread and edit college application essays as well if that is something you need assistance with.
I have experience teaching elementary aged children in the public school system. I have taught grades 2-4 over a 28 1/2 year period and also coach the school debate team and teach an adult class in the evening. I have a degree in elementary education and a reading endorsement. I've been nominated for Murray Scchool Dustruct's teacher of the year two times and received the Pinnacle award of excellence in 2012. I would love to help your child succeed in reading, writing, and math.

Hi, I am Lesslie M., I graduated with my Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland. What I love about tutoring is that you can really affect the way a student feels about a subject, when they start understanding more about the subject, they will want to learn more. My goal while tutoring in Math is to get back my students' confidence in their ability to succeed in Math. I will usually work with the curriculum the students are using in their school and before we start working in any homework, we go over the relevant topics for the homework and I always try to connect the topic with something practical they will remember. I was born and raised in Ecuador. While tutoring my students in Spanish I help them pronounce words correctly and teach phrases that are actually used in daily conversations since Spanish is my native language. Hope to hear from you soon.
I have over 4 years of tutoring experience in many different subject areas. I have tutored in several different academic settings, and I have worked with a vast range of age groups including high school, college, and graduate students. I have tutored in one-on-one settings, as well as managed after school tutoring sessions, helping to motivate and expand study skills with over 20 students per class.
Some of the unique populations that I've taught and tutored include first-generation college bound students who come from low-income families (Upward Bound Program), high profile Division-I college athletes (Fresno State), and Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy graduate students (University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences - San Marcos, CA).
I have tutored many science/math courses and the students I work with have gained not only increased knowledge and better test scores, but also self-confidence, which is often a crucial barrier to learning and performing well.

Hey! My name is Arick (Say it like Eric) nice to meet you! I am 15 years old and I love math. I am in High School as a Freshman, however, I am in an accelerated curriculum, so I can teach up to 9th grade. Hopefully I can be of some help to you!
Hello! I can go by Jihu or Ella (middle name). I graduated from The Waterford School in the spring of 2019, and am taking a gap year before I head to college at the University of Southern California in the fall of 2020. I have always loved reading, and during my high school experience, I grew to love analytical discussions of books. I also love writing, so proofreading is a great way for me to help others enhance their skills and clarity in writing.
I came to love math as well, especially AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC even more. I would love to tutor math because it is often the source of many struggles and I want to help make students' experience in math better.
I have also been playing the violin for seven years now, and plan to continue in college. The violin is one of my favorite hobbies/passions, and I would love to share that with others who also love music.
*Other notes: Time, student age range, and cost are flexible and can always be adjusted accordingly.
I am fluent in french and have 3 years of one on one teaching experience! I am willing to drive to you or I have a very nice office space to teach in at my home.
Hello! My name is Jason and I am a student at the University of Utah. I am majoring in a www.*** degree in Kinesiology and will be graduating this spring 2021. I love Anatomy/Physiology and am looking forward to offering help in anyway possible.
I am a Junior in college working towards an electrical engineering degree. I have taken Engineering Calculus 1, Multivariable Calculus, and Differential Equations with Linear Algebra. I have also taken Introduction to Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Algorithms and Data Structures, Electrical Circuit Analisis 1 and 2, and Discrete Mathematics. My current GPA is between a 3. 7 and a 3. 8 and I have been in college for 1 year. I am able to help tutor in almost any STEM classes.
I have experience tutoring elementary aged students in Math and Reading Literacy. I have worked mostly with students who do not speak English as their native language. I worked as a paraprofessional and an after school tutor for three years. I have also spent two and a half years working with teenagers who have Autism.
My name is Alex, I am currently attending American Fork High School. I have done tutoring before and have worked with special for 3 years. I enjoy working with kids and helping them reach their full potential in school. I mostly tutor English Literature, but I can also teach mathematics for students K-7 since I feel confident in math up until that point. I can also babysit :)
My first lesson is free, I like to have a session with the student and parents discussing their needs and scheduling (though schedules are very flexible). After the meeting I can have a tutoring session with your kid if there's time, if not their next lesson will be free. My pricing is $8 an hour, but this can depend on some other factors.
