I graduated from Princeton Unversity, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering in Spring 2018. I am currently applying to medical schools, but have always had a passion for teaching - whereas I began tutoring other students - both younger and the same age as I - as a freshman in high school. I continued during my summer breaks from college, even though I had various internships and research jobs. I am working full-time (40 hours a week) as a clinical research assistant at CHOP, but would love to continue to teach on the side! I love working with everyone from children to young adults. I am willing to work out location, hours, and what services I am willing to provide, depending on the student -- this includes via skype for interested students that are not in the Philadelphia area. Please contact me for interest and pricing and I am sure we can work something out!

As far as it comes to general education: I've been there, and I've done that. Having said that, I'd like to denote the absolute importance of true learning and actual knowledge of a subject - something that is difficult to ascertain in a classroom where you are simply going through the motions of socialisation.
So if you're looking to cut through the mundane and get a deeper understanding of some material, or if you're looking for someone to help you game the system to turn busy work into light work - then I'm your guy.
Also, don't be discouraged by the thought that I won't be able to translate the material well to someone that isn't accustomed to AP classes, rather, consider it like so: I can help provide that deeper "AP analysis and understanding" without all of the "rigor", or rather, all the busy work, cramming material, www.*** it as getting a taste of an AP experience through a much friendlier, understanding, and eloquent medium that has seen what works and what doesn't work in terms of teaching students, and can therefore pick and choose the good from the bad to help you make sense of the www.*** said that, here are some of my credentials:I've taken 11 APs throughout my high school career:-AP Economics (5/4)-AP Lang and Comp (5)-AP Calc BC (3)-AP Physics 1 (3)-AP US History (5)-AP Psych (4)-AP Lit and Comp (-)-AP Comp Sci A (-)-AP Statistics (-)-AP Physics C (-)-AP French Lang (-)I have a 97(dot)91/100 weighted GPA, which translates in practicality to a 4(dot) www.*** seems this website censors dots as websites, which is a bit odd.

Growing up in the public school system, I realized its greatest fault is an apathy towards learning. Instructors merely teach towards a test, students are judged only by their ability to score high on exams. While it is a tutor's main goal to bring those scores up, I hope to create a learning environment in which students genuinely enjoy the material and become actively curious about the subjects they are exposed to. Whether it's biology, chemistry, math, or writing, I aim to not only teach my students, but to engage them and lead them to an ongoing interst in their fields of study.
To contact me, please call or text at tel: *** , I will be able to reply much faster via the phone than I will through the website.

My interest in working as an academic tutor began after earning an A grade on the first expository essay I wrote as a college freshman. Over ten years later, I submitted an economic research report as a continuing education student. That report reawakened a proclivity for academic prose. From that point on, I pursued all writing roles either as the mentor or as the author. My first tutoring responsibility materialized in the fall of 2009 when I accepted an assignment to tutor freshman English courses. Needless to say, the tutoring sessions became a productive and valuable educational www.*** ;It is gratifying to meet a student who does not understand the essay requirement and has other equally important and urgent subjects to master, and then leave enlightened and empowered one hour later. I have worked with students who arrive with the task, a weak draft, and a deadline; then, leave with a fresh new outlook and a well-defined course of direction. The end result is a new educational perspective and an eagerness to return to the writing center they once eluded, whether the next day or years later. This is the episode I encounter hour after hour and day after day. Every student brings a new dilemma that has to be evaluated, restructured and refocused. It is rewarding to be the source of a life changing www.*** ;My long term personal goal has been to educate individuals on academic prose, formal argument and research protocol. I believe that the motivated, broadminded and agile university population is the optimal audience for a writing enthusiast such as I and that alone has served as my guiding principle. I worked in Princeton for several years after graduating from college and, as such, I would not hesitate to further my commitment as a writing center tutor. I have been a member of four major research organizations and I feel qualified to mentor university students, given the prospect.

Hello, I'm Priscilla. I'm a high school student who wishes to help students who may be struggling with the material they are learning. While I currently do not have any amount of hours formally tutoring, I have often spent time helping friends younger than me who had difficulty in their classes.
As a visual and kinesthetic learner, I try to implement methods that were helpful to me when I was learning the material. This can include drawing pictures, using colors to differentiate material, tricks to remember specific material, and going over specific questions with the student to ensure they understand how to approach the questions. As I come to know the student, I adjust how the material is taught so they can understand it best.
Throughout elementary and middle school, I consistently earned high quiz and test scores in my math classes. This, by extension, allowed me to achieve good grades. While I cannot provide the actual scores, they are in the high eighties and nineties. In Algebra 2, I was placed into the accelerated class (my school offers three levels, CP - the lowest - Accelerated - the middle level - and honors - the highest level) and ended with an eighty six in the class.
I have been playing flute for eight years in my school's concert band. In addition to this, I also joined my school marching band when I got into high school and took one year of music theory, as it was offered as a course in my school.
I wish to see the students succeed in their classes and will welcome any suggestions or resources provided. I am easily reachable and will respond quickly. If you have any questions or wish to schedule a lesson, feel free to contact me.

I wanted to clarify a few things. I have received two Associate's degrees from Raritan Valley Community College. One in Liberal Arts and the other in Food and Beverage Management. I am currently majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics and have been accepted to Rider University with a full scholarship to continue my education in Chemistry. I have screenshots of my transcript from RVCC with most of the college courses that I have taken and the grades I have received. This website only let's you post 4 pictures so I tried to post as many as I could. I have a cumulative GPA of 3. 41 and I was awarded a scholarship from the American Chemical Society to continue my education in Chemistry. I would also like to say that I'm a single mother of one child and I'm just trying to make some extra money while going to school. Give me a chance and I would love to share my knowledge with you!

Hallo, und herzlich Wilkommen!
My name is Sarah K. and I am a 25 year old native German speaker. I was born and raised in Austria and moved to the United States at the age of 20. I was an Au Pair in New Jersey and one of my daily tasks were helping my host child with her homework and introducing her to the German language. At the end of my one year long stay with the family the 6 year old girl was able to say full sentences and hold short conversations in German.
Being a language learner myself, I love the feeling of learning new words, phrases or structures in a foreing language and suddenly seeing a whole new world unfold (I am currently teaching myselg Spanish). My goal is it to help you have that very same feeling and experience every time you are learing something new with me.
I believe that there are 2 very important things to keep in mind when you are learning a new language:
1) It is important to have a goal. Whether it is to be able to have a basic conversation withing 6 months, or passing a test by the end of the year. We will comeup with a personal goal for you or your child and focus on it and constatly work towards it, lesson by lesson and step by step.
2) Have fun. It's one of the most efficient ways when it comes to learning a new language. I know that German has a reputation of being a very dificult language but it can still be fun to learn it. Playing around with different vocabularies and grammar is a great way to remember the words and strutures.
I look forward to hearing from you and help you or your child with all things German.
Bis bald, see you soon!
