Here, our services go over at a slow pace to ensure that our students understands the curriculum. Our teaching is very flexible, allowing the child to go slower in difficult subjects while challenging previously known knowledge. Your child will be able to excell in no time!
For my math students, I hope to make sure they understand. Anybody can memorize something, but to understand is just exceeding that standard. I'll begin by giving a simple problem in most instances that I'll have them look over and use their logical systemic approach to examine with. They'll use their logic to examine, and if they get it right, great! If they make mistakes, it's great too, because now we can go over it during the lesson to show what to do and why!
For my English students, I want them to use their imagination. Books and writings are based off imagination, not knowledge. You can take as much information as possible, but if you have no way to imagine how you'll present that, then it won't work. My teaching in this subject will go over this, and I hope I can improve their skills throughout the course.
I have worked with a family member who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), so I did work with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapists for about three years, but I have no problem working with any other students.
I feel very happy to teach, so I do not hope for mush. I wish to mainly teach online through Zoom primarily so that I can show the work since I do not wish to use my source of transportation to travel many distances as I'm a minor. I would set a standard of twelve dollars an hour, the minimum for minimum wages in California.
I have over 4 years of experience tutoring struggling students in math and science from the middle school through college level.
Having graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University (MSTU), Moscow, Russia with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with honors, I started my academic teaching at Higher Institute for Applied Science and Technology (HIAST). I am a 27 year old math, science, and engineering tutor. I began tutoring math in 2010 with a local tutoring company. After gaining several years of experience and expanding the subjects I was capable of tutoring, I began taking on private tutoring opportunities. I then began tutoring at the local community collee, covering specific courses and working with assist students in courses with historically high failure rates. I now work as an assistant supervisor for a college tutorial center that has been voted best in area 5 years in a row. I have a level 1 CRLA tutoring certificate and am currently looking for new students to take on in a private capacity.
I am passionate about nearly all STEM courses and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering at California State University of Fresno.
