I tutor almost all areas of mathematics. I tutor Algebra (1-3), Pre-calculus, Finite Mathematics, Probability, Geometry, and Calculus (1-3). I specialize in tutoring students that take college and high school courses using My Math Lab, as it gives a lot of students headaches. In my free time, I love to lift weights and I also compete in powerlifting!

I have tutored in the subject many, many times! I have completed college General Bio 1 and 2, and microbiology! I plan to be a physician! In fact, while I was working on my www.*** degree, I was both a lead Biology tutor as well as a remedial mathematics tutor (algebra, intro to algebra, pre-calculus). This was in addition to tutoring Government and www.*** History, as well as some European History (I had taken the www.*** examinations and received a 4 on each, giving me a total of 18 credit hours!). I really love to teach United States History and Government. I was also the "most recommended" tutor for 4 months straight!
Biology is absolutely my forte. I love everything about it, and truly enjoy teaching it while relating it to how we operate as humans, why we do the things we do, www.*** It's just enchanting!
My methods are very straightforward:
1.) I will assess and ask questions about your troubles in the subject. This will allow me to see where you're at.
2.) After my assessment, I will often ask questions about your preferred learning style. For example, if you're a visual learner, I will use the e-whiteboard and figures to help you understand better. I am here to tutor you and absolutely tailor a plan for you!
3.) Once I have all the information I need, I will formulate a lesson plan. I will create a map from "You Start Here," all the way till "Congratulations!" I will create a simple, yet effective, plan to ensure you're gaining www.*** ;
4.) While we are studying together, I will perform "spot checks," or little mini-quizzes. This isn't to put any pressure on you, but I simply want to know that you are understanding the concepts, setting you up for success!!!
*** Never, ever, ever feel bashful and afraid to ask questions! Questions are what keep academia alive! I will always ask if you are understanding, but you have to be sure that you are asking questions, too!
Contact me for any reason! If you need help in a subject in general, or a specific part, I'm here!
Future Doctor here!!

I am a junior in high school. I have had all As in high school so far and am taking 3 AP classes this year; ap language, ap biology, and ap Spanish. I am currently on the varsity swim team, tennis team, math team, and amnesty international. I am also on the student voice committee, which helps my school become safer for students. I am in NHS(national honors society and English NHS. I have been tutoring children for the summer and have really enjoyed it! Math is one of my best classes but I am well rounded in everything so I would be qualified to help with all types of homework. I like to teach children from grade 1 to grade 8 because I have mastered most of those skills and feel comfortable teaching them. I usually tutor by sharing my screen and working through a problem. I think examples are the best way to learn. Also, I recommend having the camera on because I believe it increases engagement. As well, I require my students to be unmuted so we can openly communicate and discuss any problems or queries.
