I have demonstrated a deep understanding of math concepts through my high school career. I have earned straight A's in my math classes. I also got perfect scores on the Math section of the SAT (800) and AP Calculus BC (5). I have tutored my classmates in STEM subjects they are struggling with. Since I am passionate about STEM, I provided superior effective tutoring in math and science. Many times, I would go early to school and use that time for tutoring and helping other students. I provided explanations for complex ideas and concepts. Usually, in my explanation, I relate the topics to reallife examples and prove approaches and hypotheses using basic knowledge that my classmates already have.

I have taken Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry, Math analysis (precalculus), Calculus, AP Calculus AB (5/5 on AP test), and Statistics. I helped tutor a student in Algebra 2 while taking Calculus and she was able to do better in class after the extra help she received. I work well with upperlevel students who need a little extra help understanding more advanced concepts. I am also able to help students to prepare for final exams and AP tests as stated before I scored a 5/5 on my AP calculus test. As for a background of my education, I graduated 6 of 148, with a GPA of 4,24. I am currently in college studying Engineering with intent to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering. My prices are negotiable and I am willing to work with schedules as best as I can. If you have any questions feel free to email me and I will respond as soon as I can.

Hi! My name is Abigail, and while I have no formal training in the education field, I am able to help out anyone in need of school tutoring! With the multiple subjects I have listed within my profile, I feel sure that I am able to help those who ask for it! As I am currently a Junior in high school (graduating next school year 20202021), I do not have the full capabilites to help with any subjects. However, I am willing to help with the subjects I am able to! I have taken several science, math, social studies, and english courses in my school as well as up to level 4 of the German language. As for science, I range from basic earth science to chemistry to human anatomy to medical terminology! Math is from Elementary (K5), Middle (68), and High school (Algebra 1Prob and Stats, opted out of Precalc and Calculus classes). In the English department, I will be in English 4 this upcoming school year, but I have also taken Creative Writing courses to help further my ability to help with English classes. For Social Studies, I can do anything from Middle (grades 68) to Highschool (with the exception of Government, Economy, and any AP classes).
Feel free to email, call, or reach out to me on Facebook! I will drive to any location within 10 miles of my residence and spend any amount of time needed with each student I tutor to ensure their success! I will leave my phone number, email, and Facebook in this description!Phone: ( tel: *** Email: ***@*** Abby S.

Hello! I am a second semester senior and am persuing to be a high school math teacher once I graduate in December! I have worked as a T/A when I was in high school, I substitute in Prince William County, VA when I am not in college. I have loads of babysitting experience so I can work well with younger kids. I can travel a little bit to meet with a student. However, I cannot drive longer than 3045min. I have a really old car that I am trying to nurse through the rest of my undergrad, so I am trying not to put a ton of miles on my car right now. I have loads of experience teaching various subjects in math. I am not an expert in everything, but I am willing to try anything to help your child!

Hello,
I have been tutoring Math for over 14 years for various grades: Middle School, High School, and College. Math is a wonderful subject once you understand it. My primary objective is to help you love Math and enjoy it. Once that is established, nothing will stop you from excelling at Math.
Diplomas: I hold a PhD in Wireless Communications, MS in Telecommunications, and BS in Electrical Engineering.
Tutoring Methods: My tutoring methods involve direct engagement with the student to make sure he/she is really understanding what I am explaining. I always try to provide real life scenarios where certain formulas are applied. This approach helps the student remember the equation or even reconstruct it again based on the scenarios discussed. Everything in Math is applied in our daily life but we are unaware of it because we do not pay attention to it but that does not mean it does not exist. After most sessions, I assign few problems for the student to work on them at home before our next session (these assignments could be chosen from the textbook or I could formulate them myself). This method affirms student understanding of the subjects covered.
Guarantees: I can guarantee you that if you follow the steps I pass onto you and do your homework assigned to you, I have no doubt that you will not only pass the class but also end up with an A. That's based on experience and not talk.
