I'm very passionate about helping more students with their subjects and I'm very eager to devote my time working as a tutor. I will keep my attention on finding the ways to explain concepts that are best suitable to a student. I've been tutoring all STEM subjects since my junior highschool and it turned out that the results of my tutoring were very good as all my students had a much better understanding of course concepts and become more efficient in solving problems. If you choose me to help you in any subjects listed, I promise I will not let you down because I have confidence in myself and I have confidence in every student who comes to find me.
For online tutoring: Zoom is preferred.
I have taught Mathematics for more than 9 years. Currently, I am helping once student in Statistics. I am a PhD student at Wright State University in Engineering.
My name is Drew and I am 20 years old. I am currently attending Tennessee Tech and I am studying Chemical Engineering with a Biomolecular Engineering concentration. I am hoping to one day use this degree in order to work in the medical field to some extent: I would either like to work in pharmeceuticals and help to make new medicines, or I would like to study diseases such as cancer or AIDS in order to help find a cure. I currently work at Papa John's, but I am beginning to feel burnt out, as I feel like I am not using my brain as much as I would like while I am working. That is why I would much rather tutor; it would be a double positive, as I would get to use my brain and also do something that I feel is more useful and helpful to others! I am confident in teaching any level of math from Elementary school all the way up until Calculus I, and even some material in Calculus II. I would also feel confident tutoring in elementary, middle, and high school science, as well as introductory college Chemistry.
My name is Nilam www.*** Math has always been my strongest subject. I tutor my friends occasionally. I have taken all math courses from elementary - AP calculus. I am currently in Statistical Theories at IUPUI. I graduated Franklin Central High School, 50th in my class of 729. I have always been an Honor Roll student and have made the Dean's list at IUPUI.
I have a bachelor in Electrical and Computer engineering. I have 10+ years of experience as an Electrical engineer and 10+ years of experience as a Math teacher. I also speak and write Arabic fluently.
I have held these following positions in education for the last 11 years:
*General Education Teacher Assistant (Kindergarten-4th grade)
*Special Education Teacher Assistant (Preschool)
*Substitute Teacher (Preschool- Middle School)
*Preschool Teacher (2-4 yr.)
*Tutoring for the last 4 years (Math, English-Literature, Phonics, Science, Social Studies, Spelling, Art)
*Homeschooling 4th grade
☆I have tutored in {ALL} subjects up to Middle School grade level.
Hello. My name is Kevin. A few years ago, I stopped teaching calculus to start my own business. I still have a passion for teaching and enjoy helping students. Experience has taught me that nothing is too hard for committed students and that anybody can learn math.
I have eight years experience tutoring and teaching math from middle school to college. This includes three years as a college professor. I have experience with all topics up to differential equations and linear algebra. I have worked with all types of students.
I have been in your shoes!! I have hated math because it was just too hard and didn't understand the purpose! Until. . .
A fantastic teacher came along and showed me the true wonders of math! She made it easy, fun and understandable! Because of her, I want to help share my knowledge of math with others! I like to think that I make math easier to remember by making it fun and understanding! I like giving key steps or even helpful hints and tidbits to help people remember the steps!!
There are usually 3 questions I answer!
WHAT? WHY? and HOW?
I truly believe that if you have an understanding of these questions, and with the correct teacher, math can be made simple and fun!!
I have been teaching for three years now! I was in elementary for two years where I taught Math, Science, and Social Studies. I currently teach Freshman Algebra.
If you have any questions! Please don't hesitate to ask!!
I have demonstrated a deep understanding of math concepts through my high school career. I have earned straight A's in my math classes. I also got perfect scores on the Math section of the SAT (800) and AP Calculus BC (5). I have tutored my classmates in STEM subjects they are struggling with. Since I am passionate about STEM, I provided superior effective tutoring in math and science. Many times, I would go early to school and use that time for tutoring and helping other students. I provided explanations for complex ideas and concepts. Usually, in my explanation, I relate the topics to real-life examples and prove approaches and hypotheses using basic knowledge that my classmates already have.
I'm a 15 year old sophomore in high school. Although I'm young, I'm in senior level math and junior level science. I am taking 2 AP classes next year and all honors level. I have a 4. 0 gpa. I don't have any profesional experience tutoring, but I help people with school almost everyday. I'm especially good at math and science. I can tutor for Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry and any basic math. I can tutor for Biology and Chemistry, and elementary - middle school science.
I attend Reinhardt University as a full time dual enrollment student. My grades are wonderful seeing as I have a 3. 8 gpa that is going to boost soon and a 30 on my act which I am trying to improve. I try really hard with anything academic so even if I forget something I will not stop until I rediscover it. Many comment on how mature and responsible I am for my age. Math is my strong suit as I currently have a 102 in college pre-calculus. Sciences (especially biology) are really easy for me also . I am 100% confident in having the ability to effectively tutor. I will charge $30/hour, and I will charge half off the first lesson.
