Hello,
I have been tutoring Math for over 14 years for various grades: Middle School, High School, and College. Math is a wonderful subject once you understand it. My primary objective is to help you love Math and enjoy it. Once that is established, nothing will stop you from excelling at Math.
Diplomas: I hold a PhD in Wireless Communications, MS in Telecommunications, and BS in Electrical Engineering.
Tutoring Methods: My tutoring methods involve direct engagement with the student to make sure he/she is really understanding what I am explaining. I always try to provide real life scenarios where certain formulas are applied. This approach helps the student remember the equation or even reconstruct it again based on the scenarios discussed. Everything in Math is applied in our daily life but we are unaware of it because we do not pay attention to it but that does not mean it does not exist. After most sessions, I assign few problems for the student to work on them at home before our next session (these assignments could be chosen from the textbook or I could formulate them myself). This method affirms student understanding of the subjects covered.
Guarantees: I can guarantee you that if you follow the steps I pass onto you and do your homework assigned to you, I have no doubt that you will not only pass the class but also end up with an A. That's based on experience and not talk.

I wanted to clarify a few things. I have received two Associate's degrees from Raritan Valley Community College. One in Liberal Arts and the other in Food and Beverage Management. I am currently majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics and have been accepted to Rider University with a full scholarship to continue my education in Chemistry. I have screenshots of my transcript from RVCC with most of the college courses that I have taken and the grades I have received. This website only let's you post 4 pictures so I tried to post as many as I could. I have a cumulative GPA of 3. 41 and I was awarded a scholarship from the American Chemical Society to continue my education in Chemistry. I would also like to say that I'm a single mother of one child and I'm just trying to make some extra money while going to school. Give me a chance and I would love to share my knowledge with you!

I will also graduate with a PhD in physics from The University of Texas at San Antonio on www.*** 2020.
www.*** availability is flexible and I can help with homework problems and boosting confidence. www.*** goal is to help students not only solve problems but also to help them understand and highlight fundamental concepts and principles in order for them to see the bigger picture. I enjoy teaching and sharing my passion for math and logic. I also love to see people be able to grow and learn in ways that they did not know that they could. There is also joy for me in learning as well because by teaching people I also get to learn and grow and get to grow a connection to the people that I am teaching. I am a college student pursuing a bachelors degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics. Math has always been a passion of mine, and I love the way numbers and calculations work to bring understanding to problems. I also have a lot of passion for teaching others and trying to help others achieve a better understanding of the material that they are studying along with helping them grow and appreciate the subject that I know and love.
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process with a new student is to get to know them and how they view the subject that they are working on. Whether they view it as a passion that just needs more help to fully develop, a burden to be overcome, or something else entirely. Once I have begun to know this information I like to begin by introducing the basic ideas around the subject or topic at hand to get a better grasp around the fundamentals. This helps me learn who the student is as a person and how they like to learn and interact with the subject so that the relationship is built and the way to approach the subject can be improved for each of the individual students
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a large background in mathematics. I am pursuing a mathematics minor and a computer science degree. I have taken up to Calculus III, linear algebra, and statistics at the college level. I have been at the top of my class throughout high school and college. math has always come easily to me, and I love to share and learn with people while improving my own skills.

I am a junior at MIT pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (Robotics). I am writing to express interest in tutoring in STEM fields for summer 2018.
As a robotics major at MIT, I have background knowledge of the fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (both in design and manufacturing) in addition to extensive hands-on experience prior to and during my education at MIT. Being an MIT student has given me exceptional opportunities to broaden my vision through a wide variety of courses from both engineering and science disciplines; this tutoring opportunity will give me a chance to share my piece of knowledge with interested individuals.
