I started my education after my children were old enough for me to do so and just haven't stopped. I am passionate about learning and passing that along to others. I strongly believe that the quality of a person's future is dependent upon their education especially as we face the future. I can tutor at almost all levels but prefer to help students prepare for high school, college, and graduate school. I tutor mostly in test preparation skills, SAT/ACT, Reading and Writing, Composition, English, Literature, and many of the Liberal Arts. I also offer a well-received program for helping high school juniors and senior choose their college major and the institution they will attend. When I perform this service I will help narrow down the schools until a final list is picked and then will help with applications, essays, interviews, and financial aid including scholarships. All of my prices are negotiable based on your ability to pay and proof of income will be required. The performance increase in my students can be documented and frankly, I provide results.

I have always been interested and passionate about history. I had my nose stuck in my history book in fifth grade and have loved learning about how our world has gotten where it is today. My senior year of high school I had five AP history courses and passed all five exams with a max score on two, Government and European History, and fours on the rest. I had graduated high school with my first two years of my undergraduate degree. I currently am a Political Science student at UCF and will be graduating in 2019. I have tutored my classmates in history starting my junior year in American History, and have helped my peers in everything from World History all the way through my American Presidency course at UCF this semester. I have been certified by AP exams as very qualified(A rating of 4) in World History, American History, Macro Economics, Micro Economics, and extremely qualified (A five rating) in American Government and European History.

I have traveled the world and helped hundreds of people who needed to learn languages. Whether from English to French, or French to English, or to help those who have little or no English learn the English language. I teach to a young child as easily as a more mature individuals who want to learn the www.*** ; I prepare each class to meet the individual needs of my students. One size or one book does not fit all. Whether you want to learn French because you are going to France this summer, or are in the IB Program, I have extensive material to www.*** ; The majority of my students learn more with me than they do at school. One of my students in a local high school scored the highest grade in all of Hillsborough county in her IB Test; others have gone from failing grades to A+.
My areas of expertise include a correct French pronunciation, a proven way to explain the intricacies of learning French, a fluency that only natives can have and a passion for teaching the correct way.
My experience includes teaching American citizens relocating to France, and French citizens relocating to the United States; translating books and pamphlets, correcting and proofreading numerous articles and brochures. I have written articles in French for different websites. I made a long term career in the legal field. I privately tutor seven students (from various countries including Haiti, Columbia, Panama, Algeria, Russia) for the Literacy Council in areas of basic English, vocabulary, grammar and reading.
I take great pride in my teaching capabilities and especially transferring that knowledge to others. It's a journey that leads to a far better life, better curriculum and numerous more doors to be opened. If that is the type of help you need, if you want to excel or if you need to learn French or English as a second language, call me. We can explore all kinds of different avenues in languages together and together, we can accomplish huge milestones! Your goals are my goals, your successes become my objectives.

I really enjoy helping others. I have had many years of positive experiences with students of all ages.
I am a native Spanish speaker. I've been a teacher and trainer for 16 years. I have a Bachelor degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Communication. Hi!My name is Sam (short for Samantha). I'm from England but have been living and teaching in the USA since 2014 where I studied for my MA in German Studies at the University of Florida. I started learning German in school at 14 so I know what it's like to learn this language as well as teaching it. I perfected my German skills by studying German as my major at undergrad, studying in Düsseldorf plus living and working in Berlin. I have a huge love for all things German and want to pass that on to you. German can be a tough language to learn but it really is rewarding. I consider myself to be an approachable teacher who will always strive to steer your lessons to cover things that interest you personally.

Hello! One of my favorite things is helping someone learn something that was previously a mystery to them. That sudden "A-ha!" moment that everyone has when learning something new and difficult is an amazing feeling to have, as is the feeling when you help someone reach that enlightened state.
I have been tutoring students in subjectes ranging from pre-algebra to abstract algebra to differential equations for over 4 years (in person and online via www.*** and varsity tutors), have been awarded many FAMAT trophies and have a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida.

I'm a passionate tutor of Spanish language. I'm currently working as a Spanish professor at St. Petersburg College and Florida Southern College. I offer Spanish classes at all levels and in different areas of expertise, and I’m also an experienced translator.
I hold a Doctorate Degree in Spanish Linguistics and Translation from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, with a CUM LAUDE distinction. I have been awarded two academic honors of “Golden Medal” in recognition of outstanding academic achievement with regards to my Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Spanish Philology.
Additionally, I have successfully completed various specialization courses and trainings in Spanish Language and Culture arranged by Spanishuniversities.
I have expertise in a variety of disciplines such as: Spanish Linguistics, Translation, Spanish Language and Culture, Latin-American Civilization and Spanish for specific purposes.
As a teacher, my philosophy is to provide students with a friendly and supportive atmosphere in order to help them boost their confidence in learning a new language. I feel that students can benefit from my first-hand experience of Spanish language and Hispanic culture. I am thoroughly familiar with the Spanish culture, since I lived in Spain for more than 4 years and during my stay in the multi-cultural Colegio Mayor Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe residence in Madrid, I’ve had the chance to acquire a vast knowledge of Spanish as well as Latin-American culture.
I am not the kind of teacher who believes in a single perfect teaching technique or is anchored to textbooks; I always struggle to find innovative ways that address the different needs of my students, spark their interests as well as stimulate their analytical and critical thinking skills.
My goal is to help my students to rise to their full potential, to transfer my passion and enthusiasm to them and to provide inspiration to fuel their pursuits.
So, if you are an elementary, middle, high school or university student trying to keep up with your classes, to raise your grades or to perform better on Spanish tests or an adult willing to become fluent in conversational Spanish, to learn Spanish for business, tourism or any other specific purpose, or to get acquainted with Spanish language and culture, we can devise a strategy that will fit your needs and wishes. If you want your child to become proficient in Spanish language, I will be happy to offer full immersion at home with fun and age-appropriate activities.
I will be glad to offer you an assessment session in order to understand your skills and needs and, thus, determine the strategy that will work best for you. I may also assist you with translation, editing and proofreading papers or documents for students or professionals.
I am available for tutoring every day at any hour, and I can travel to students or meet them online.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you in your journey toward a successful and rewarding career.
