Yes, I am still a student, but I have many years of experience with elementary school children. I've been tutoring since I was a freshman in high school, first starting with my younger cousins. When I came to college, I got a work study job as a tutor for elementary and middle school www.*** work directly with any student that needs assistance in this specific subject. My tutor groups range roughly around 3-6 students in each of my sessions. Students that need extra assistance, I make sure that they get what they need so that no child is left behind. My job is to make sure that every student not only learns the material they need to know, but grasp it so that they will be able to explain it back to anyone that asks. I want to benefit my students as much as possible. I am very easy to reach and will always provide quick responses. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!

Elementary Math, Phonics, and Reading lessons in Alexandria, VA, USA.
I have been tutoring Math for over 14 years for various grades: Middle School, High School, and College. Math is a wonderful subject once you understand it. My primary objective is to help you love Math and enjoy it. Once that is established, nothing will stop you from excelling at Math.
Diplomas: I hold a PhD in Wireless Communications, MS in Telecommunications, and BS in Electrical Engineering.
Tutoring Methods: My tutoring methods involve direct engagement with the student to make sure he/she is really understanding what I am explaining. I always try to provide real life scenarios where certain formulas are applied. This approach helps the student remember the equation or even reconstruct it again based on the scenarios discussed. Everything in Math is applied in our daily life but we are unaware of it because we do not pay attention to it but that does not mean it does not exist. After most sessions, I assign few problems for the student to work on them at home before our next session (these assignments could be chosen from the textbook or I could formulate them myself). This method affirms student understanding of the subjects covered.
Guarantees: I can guarantee you that if you follow the steps I pass onto you and do your homework assigned to you, I have no doubt that you will not only pass the class but also end up with an A. That's based on experience and not talk.
I have good experience in tutoring elementary level and high school students.
I have a younger sister that I help with her homework as well as family members who I help. I also help my friends in college with their basic math skills. I am very patient and can give your student many different ways of solving problems and I can help students who are independent learners, visual learners, auditory learners or even hands-on learners. I am very flexible and I get the job done. Feel free to contact me at any time and I am in the Clinton, Maryland area but I don't mind traveling to you. I also go further than just helping them with the problems on their homework I give tips, strategies, and notes to solve the problems on their own.

My passion is working with anyone who has a desire to learn. I teach Mathematics, English (both composition and the language itself), and music, specifically piano performance. Certified K-8th Grade Intervention Teacher and Private Tutor with 8 years of experience tutoring students ages 5-20
My intellectual curiosity, love of learning, and desire to positively impact the lives of others ultimately lead me into the field of education. I believe that the purpose of education is to equip an individual with the necessary tools to problem solve, effectively communicate, and think critically. The quality of education that children receive in their early years is pivotal to their development and success later in life.

I believe that as a teacher, I contribute to the development of dynamic and engaging learning environments for students. I look forward to working with your child/student!

Hi again! I just wanted to let you get to know a little about me. My previous experience with children started with my younger brother who is now 15. He opened the world to me helping other students with their school work. In 2010, I volunteered at a local Jewish Sunday school working with children ages 5 through 12. I was an assistant teacher for two years. After that, I started volunteering at a camp that was dedicated towards children who are along the Autism Spectrum. Spring 2015 I was an intern at Jemicy Lower school which focuses on working with childrne who have learning disabilities like dyslexia. I loved working with children. In 2015 after I graduated from high school, I went to Frostburg State University and went for a degree in early childhood education. Since then I have obtained a cosmetology license from Robert Paul Academy, and graduated from the Community College of Baltimore County with my Associates degree. I have been accepted into Stevenson University to obtain a degree in Finance. I love working with students and doing math. During this pandemic I have graduated, and am currently helping my 10th grade younger brother with his school work. I want to take the time I have available and help others in need.

My teaching style incorporates my love of art and music to create a creative and productive learning atmosphere. I work to forge genuine connections with students built on a foundation of genuine care and professional competence. Over my four years as a part-time music educator, I developed strong classroom management and curriculum development skills. In finishing my teaching certification last spring in a rather unconventional atmosphere, I have added flexibility in my practice and fluency in online learning tools to my list of qualifications. To learn more about my experience, skills, and teaching philosophy, please review my linked website.

I have over ten years of experience working with a diverse range of ability levels. I enjoy working with readers and writers of all ages and can assist whether the struggle is in reading comprehension or decoding (sounding out the words on the page). How it works? I would first set your child up for a FREE evaluation. After, I would be able to pinpoint gaps in their foundational skills and create an individualized learning plan. Lessons thereafter, can be as often as you prefer.

Although I have only one year of teaching experience in a school setting, I have tutored students for many years online and in their homes my step-by-step approach to solving algebraic and word problems. Mathematics is unlike any other subject - it can not be memorized, it MUST BE PRACTICED! I make up practice sheets so my students can gain as much experience as possible. Along with my other teaching experiences, I have also taught GED math subjects such as time, fractions, decimals, scientific notation, and beginning algebra. My schedule is very flexible and I can travel anywhere in the Hershey/Hummelstown area.
