***DOING ONLINE LESSONS ONLY*** I have Masters in Maths and I am Former Head of Mathematics of a high achieving school. I have been teaching and tutoring for the past 20+ years. I teach Math up to AP level and have had great results always. I have also been an examiner for UK International and OCR examination boards for Math exams. The best part of my job is making Maths enjoyable and accessible to my students. It is hugely rewarding when your students achieve their potential grades and progress to the next stage of their academic life. I am very passionate about my subject. Before teaching, I worked as a Senior Analyst Programmer in a Software house specialising in Banking software. Please note that I only tutor online as I need all my resources to deliver a lesson that meets my expectation and yours!
Hello! Im a Junior in High School and I'm good at geometry. Have tutored people to get better grades in the past. Anyone that needs help is welcome!
I am a graduate from Clovis West High School and I am attending CSU Fresno. I took all the honors math courses at my high school and always maintained high grades. I am able to tutor math from elementary level to high school mathematics. The courses I can teach are: elementary mathematics, algebra, geometry, and calculus. Math has always been a passion of mine and through my service, I'm hoping I can make math easier and more enjoyable.
I am currently a junior at Saugus High School, I have taken and passed AP Biology, AP Computer Science Principles, AP World History, AP Chemistry. I am currently taking AP Computer Science Java, AP Studio Art, and AP Environmental Science. I have a 4. 0 GPA. I have also taken multiple College of the Canyons courses including Art and U. S. History.
My math qualifications include:
Honors Algebra 1
I started tutoring when I returned to school, helping my classmates in my two math classes. I have worked mostly with at-risk students, most at the high school level, and some at the college level. I taught Algebra and Geometry for 1 1/2 years as a long term substitute teacher in a high school. While I loved teaching in the classroom, I much prefer the one-on-one relationship that tutoring provides. I want to be sure my students understand the concepts we are covering, not simply memorizing rules or steps just to find a solution. There is nothing more satisfying -- for tutor and student -- than when the "light" goes on and the student fully understands what he/she is doing!
Math: Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Ap Calculus, and Ap Statistics.
Science: Biology, CP Chemistry, and CP Physic.

I'm a private math tutor with a BS degree in mathematics. I tutor all math up to Math Analysis and Pre-calculus. I also tutor all three sections of the SAT. I've been tutoring for 19 years. My strength is finding a way to explain a difficult concept in simpler terms that work for each particular student. I have the necessary equipment to tutor online and make it just like I'm sitting next to the student.

More than 20 years of educational experience: I provide tutoring and learning services such as one-on-one sessions and group tutoring for all grades, General Math, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus & Accounting as well as test prep (SAT, ACT, AP, GRE, GED, etc). I finished my high school in Hong Kong, now I am studying in ELAC with biochemistry major. I have experienced the eastern and the western teaching style, eastern one is more like exam oriented and the western one is more focusing on the concept. But I think those two elements should make a balance. In my class, I will combine those two elements, you will learn the concept and the skills when taking the exam.

Here, our services go over at a slow pace to ensure that our students understands the curriculum. Our teaching is very flexible, allowing the child to go slower in difficult subjects while challenging previously known knowledge. Your child will be able to excell in no time!
For my math students, I hope to make sure they understand. Anybody can memorize something, but to understand is just exceeding that standard. I'll begin by giving a simple problem in most instances that I'll have them look over and use their logical systemic approach to examine with. They'll use their logic to examine, and if they get it right, great! If they make mistakes, it's great too, because now we can go over it during the lesson to show what to do and why!
For my English students, I want them to use their imagination. Books and writings are based off imagination, not knowledge. You can take as much information as possible, but if you have no way to imagine how you'll present that, then it won't work. My teaching in this subject will go over this, and I hope I can improve their skills throughout the course.
I have worked with a family member who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), so I did work with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapists for about three years, but I have no problem working with any other students.
I feel very happy to teach, so I do not hope for mush. I wish to mainly teach online through Zoom primarily so that I can show the work since I do not wish to use my source of transportation to travel many distances as I'm a minor. I would set a standard of twelve dollars an hour, the minimum for minimum wages in California.
Besides tutoring peers, I have worked as a camp counselor, and am experienced with working with children! I have also played the piano for over ten years, and am happy to help anyone who wishes to learn to play piano.

I enjoy working with people who are eager to learn, and more importantly, eager to pass tests. School is often a difficult setting, but with the right tools, you can succeed. I offer a variety of skills to not only guide students through problems, but to further deepen their understanding and have them discover how to apply new concepts in the future. Although I especially enjoy teaching calculus topics, I am able to tutor for any math subjects, including trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and more. I use interesting and engaging methods to explain difficult ideas to those in need. I have experience making abstractions clear for countless friends and family members, and I look forward to continuing with new people.
