I do tutor in person and online. But I recommend that if we tutor in person to meet in a public place for the first time because its for safety reasons. I'm reliable and extremely smart i'm amazing with kids annd i am eligible to tutor kids with ADHD and ADD because I myself I have this disorder so I know how to work with it. I tutor math and english for middle schoolers and under. I am quite flexible with my schedule and open to most options. I will tutor you and also help with homework. I also will give prizes as we give pratice items for a little more motivation especially when working with the hyperactive children.

To whom it may concern:
I'm Ethel W., and I've been a tutor for several years with great references. I've worked with elementary, middle schools, and high school students with reading. I've also worked with intercity elementary schools helping kids with reading again with middle/ high schools on EMPOWERMENT.
I feel it's important to remind kids they have the power to be what ever they want as long as they put their little mind to it and start to believe in themselves.
Most recently I got two job offers from two different companies but because of the work load I had to chose one and they kept me very busy, as soon as I completed a district, it was on to the next.
The one thing that was so amazing to me was the sparkle in their little eyes, when they realize someone truly cared. PRICLESS!!

As a dedicated, communication specialist, copywriter and life coach, with 20+ years experience, I am well versed in the everyday struggle you may be having expressing yourself, figuring out your next career move or asking the tough questions to figure out your true passionI majored in English Literature, with a minor in professional writing, and continue to be an avid reader and writer. During my day-to-day, I teach academic reading and writing skills at Language Systems International (LSI). Additionally, I work with students of all ages and levels of English on Conversation Management and Accent Reduction (CMAR) which includes pronunciation, vocabulary building, and listening comprehension. Besides teaching, I freelance as a writer and consultant for startups, assisting them in developing written and oral presentations to gain investments of $250k- $1mil from venture capitalists. The connection between reading, writing, and public speaking is not always obvious but becomes more clear as we begin to develop your unique writing and speaking style which I can help you with. Finally, as a life coach, I can guide students and young professionals in standard job-seeking skills, like creating a resume that highlights accomplishments, a cover letter that gets responses and prepping clients for intense interviews. Furthermore, I know how to get you motivated and energized about education, work, or that career change you've been dying to make.
In closing, I strive to boost your confidence by being supportive, making you feel comfortable, and keeping my lessons fun but packed with very useful information. I am knowledgeable on many topics, highly motivated, love a spirited debate, and sincerely enjoy helping people reach their goals. I look forward to working with you soon.

My experience includes being a peer tutor for people in my classes for two years, tutoring the ages of 7-14 for one and a half years, and serving as a peer counselor assisting peers in college applications which required tutoring and counseling training. I am passionate about education and helping others succeed. My goal is to find ways to incorporate different learning styles into various activities to ensure everyone understands their material rather than just be told to learn it. With any of my past or future experience, I hope to make a big step towards my goal and know that expanding what I know can be accomplished. For example, in my University (University of California-Davis), I learn how to care for animals, network, write journalism articles and creative pieces, and most importantly, teach others various subjects. I am eager to learn, adapt, engage, and, most of all, be a great tutor.

Hi! I am a junior in highschol, and I love helping kids with their homework, classwork, etc. I have gotten nothing but straight A's during my school career, and I am hoping to do the same for your child! Learning common core and th enew way of teaching can be difficult especially as common core is much more complicated than the way the parents were taught. Now, they want explanations, logicla reasoning, what I like to call the VANG approach, whihc is verbally algebraically numerically and graphically, especially when it comes to math. Learn your VANG approach, and it will promise your child an A on your child's next test or quiz! I look forward to chatting and teaching your child. Talk soon!!
