Pinch Sitters
Childcare, Daycare Center
|
We have been dedicated to providing high-quality temporary and occasional babysitting for children of all ages for over 30 years. The rate is $22/hour with a 4 hour minimum; the sitter is paid on the 1/2 hour after the minimum. After 10pm, there is a travel surcharge of $15. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, there will be a $45 fee. If you cancel with less than 2 hours notice, there will be a fee equal to the booking minimum ($88). You do pay the sitter directly, at the end of the booking (they do prefer cash). All Pinch Sitters have at least 3 years experience and at least 2 recent childcare references. All Pinch Sitters are personally interviewed and submit to a full reference, criminal and background check. All Pinch Sitters have extensive experience in many diverse settings: daycare/pre-K programs, K-12 classrooms, after school/summer camps, art therapy, and children's theater, dance, music, and gymnastics classes. Our experienced, responsible, reliable, and loving staff design fun and enriching activities while making sure that your children are safe and protected. The office is open Monday thru Friday from 8am-5pm. We do take same day requests and ask for a two hour turn around time (if a sitter is available). There is no pre-registration - we take your information at the time of your first booking.

I do tutor in person and online. But I recommend that if we tutor in person to meet in a public place for the first time because its for safety reasons. I'm reliable and extremely smart i'm amazing with kids annd i am eligible to tutor kids with ADHD and ADD because I myself I have this disorder so I know how to work with it. I tutor math and english for middle schoolers and under. I am quite flexible with my schedule and open to most options. I will tutor you and also help with homework. I also will give prizes as we give pratice items for a little more motivation especially when working with the hyperactive children.

My intellectual curiosity, love of learning, and desire to positively impact the lives of others ultimately lead me into the field of education. I believe that the purpose of education is to equip an individual with the necessary tools to problem solve, effectively communicate, and think critically. The quality of education that children receive in their early years is pivotal to their development and success later in life.
I am currently working as a Kindergarten teacher in an inclusive classroom for Baltimore City Public Schools. I hold two Maryland Educator Certificates, in Elementary Education and Special Education. In May 2016, I completed the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Johns Hopkins University. I also have experience working with students with Autism and other special needs.
I believe that as a teacher, I contribute to the development of dynamic and engaging learning environments for students. I look forward to working with your child/student!

I am currently in process of continuing my higher education. In 2017 through the beginning of 2018, I returned to college to pursue a degree in Psychology. After having to take a brief leave of absence in Spring of 2018, I am back and better than ever and ready to help you or your child(ren) improve your reading skills including comprehension and oral practice, or your writing skills from beginning comprehension and handwriting, through creative writing and essay projects. Need assistance with APA formating or researching your local library? I can help with that too! Do you need extra patience and understanding while you gain confidence in your ability to read, recite and/or write? I have over four (4) years experience working with pre-school and special needs individuals and will be happy to sit with you and work through whatever challenges you are facing until you reach your goals. Let me help you find a pace and method that works for you and helps you take your skills to the next level.
