My Philosophy: While teaching, I feel that it is necessary to share my gifts and talents in the classroom as well as with others who may need extra help. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring and helping kids see their maximum potential in their learning. I want to continue tutoring throughout the summer as well as into the school year. This area of education is crucial to me, and I want to make sure that the kids I work with understand the content better as to when they had started working with me. My Tutoring Experience: I have worked with children from 1st-3rd grade in all subject areas. I have worked with 4th-8th graders on study skills to prepare them or help them succeed in both middle school (6th-8th) or high school (9th-12th). I have worked with students in middle school in almost all subject areas, including but not limited to: English, writing, social studies, science, and religion. Tutoring and COVID-19: In these times of uncertainty, it has become clear to me that many parents are not comfortable with their children returning to the classroom. Therefore, I would like to offer my services regardless if a student is attending school regularly, as in face to face or if they are going to be engaging in remote learning (i. e. virtual). I understand the reality that many parents have full-time jobs and can't take on an entirely new job: becoming their child's full-time teacher. I know it is common for many young children to become easily distracted, thus it will be my job to guide individuals through their virtual schooling and keep them on track. Additionally, I am flexible about where you would want tutoring to take place. For instance, I can come to you, you can come to me, or we can use a platform such as Zoom to ensure your child is getting what they need.

I wanted to clarify a few things. I have received two Associate's degrees from Raritan Valley Community College. One in Liberal Arts and the other in Food and Beverage Management. I am currently majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics and have been accepted to Rider University with a full scholarship to continue my education in Chemistry. I have screenshots of my transcript from RVCC with most of the college courses that I have taken and the grades I have received. This website only let's you post 4 pictures so I tried to post as many as I could. I have a cumulative GPA of 3. 41 and I was awarded a scholarship from the American Chemical Society to continue my education in Chemistry. I would also like to say that I'm a single mother of one child and I'm just trying to make some extra money while going to school. Give me a chance and I would love to share my knowledge with you!

Hi, my name is Danielle Z. and I am a senior at UNCG! I was a double major in Elementary Education and Special Education for 3 years and I am now studying Media Studies. My heart has always been with teaching children, but I switched majors when the double major became too much to handle! When I graduate in May 2020, I will then return to the education program and work on my Teaching Licensure! I look forward to working with you and your children!

Since I graduated high school I've thought of taking on tutoring! The only reason I don't show my face is that I'd like to keep some anonymity while putting myself on the internet. If you are interested in my tutoring service, I'll happily show my face during lessons. Due to COVID, I'd like to keep all of my lessons online; I am available with using Zoom, Google classroom, or Cisco WebEx.
If you have any questions, feel free to message me :)

I have tutored students from pre-dchool all the way through juniors in high school. During my years at Canisius, I completed over 200 hours of field work. I also was selected to teach in Spain for three weeks. I have had to write and teach lessons and assess students. I have learned many different methods of teaching and tailor my teaching methods in a way that is best for the student
I also was a teacher aide for students with special needs during the summer for a summer school program. I did this for four years. I have a strong interest in children with autism.
As a tutor, I take time to form a relationship with both the student and parent. I encourage both the student and parent to take an active role in the tutoring process. I tailor my lessons to what the parent indetifies as a area of development and the student.

I'm Ashley! I graduated Cum Laude from UCSD with a Bachelors's degree in Media Arts and a minor in Language Studies with a focus on American Sign Language. I have been tutoring English and ASL for the last five years and absolutely love helping students overcome their insecurities or fears in a subject that they struggle in. I have worked with all kinds of students from young elementary to adults learning English as a second language and have learned that every student learns differently, so I'm always excited to figure out how best to structure lessons or the way I explain material in order to help them to succeed!
I'm a very patient person, easy to talk to, and am always willing to go out of my way to provide extra help if needed. I'm a film major, not an English teacher, but I tutor because I love watching students gain confidence in a subject that they struggle in. Whether it's grasping a new element of material or moving up a reading level, I get just as excited as they do.
I am an ASL minor and have been signing for eight years. I absolutely love the language and am always excited to see new students choosing to learn it! At UCSD I helped found and was on the board of the ASL club which provided free tutoring sessions, homework help, and conversation practice for ASL students that needed extra help or wanted to improve their fluency. I also volunteered for a program on campus called Language Conversation Tables which allowed students to practice their language skills or learn a new language from their peers.
I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible and therefore welcome any resources or suggestions that students or parents can provide. I am easy to reach and will always provide quick responses. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!

I am out of Elemantary. I have been in advanced classes and I am strong in math and kind of in grammar. If you need any math or grammar help, I am the person to go to. I only accept people who need help in math that I could understand. I would love for someone to need help. I try to do affordable prices, if its expensive, please, be sure to tell me. If you did not know, I charge $10 for 30 minutes. Anyone that is not in Elemantary, I suggest you go to someone else. Thank you to those who read this.

I teach my pupils a classical education curriculum, based on the educational standards of Western Civilization until the mid 20th century or so.
I specialize in (English only) grammar, arithmetic, geometry, natural sciences and astronomy, music and art, politics, and philosophy. Almost every lesson also includes a section on geography (and cartography) and history to give context to the topics studied. Be prepared to study writings and cultures of Western Civilization: from Greco-Roman Hellenism to Catholic scholasticism, to the Renaissance and Anglo-American Enlightenment. Looking backwards at the transitions between these eras, what might come next?
I am able to scale these lessons for any age group. One is never too young to learn the basics nor too old to contemplate the Masters. As I do not teach any languages, my courses will be 100% English or English translations.
While parts of the Bible will be read and discussed, my lessons are largely secular, unbiased, and academic in nature. These are not Sunday School lessons!
I absolutely love that I get to lift up a generation that has inherited a fallen society. I put the academics back into academia. You won't find the Judeo-Marxist critiques and deconstruction of the Occident with my lessons, nor will you need to purchase $400 textbooks. The readings from my lessons, and the wisdom they impart, are all freely available online to the entire world. I will provide all of the reading material for free in a format readable on any computer, smartphone, or e-book reader. I will even attempt to find an audiobook for free if requested.
New students: I discuss the needs of new students and plan a customized lesson based on their needs and/or areas of interest. Please allow two weeks of planning time for a new student's first few lessons. Education is not "one size fits a classroom of 30."
Modest pricing: $100 for a one hour bi-weekly lesson. I give my pupils a full two weeks to read the materials and write about the lesson's readings. I meet all students at their nearest public library or we can conduct lessons online.

I am a student at Tarleton State. I am an agriculture communications major and am enrolled in honors college. I hope to help students develop there writing and communication skills. I believe that being in college is an advantage to my tutoring abilities as I practice what I teach everyday. In addition, I have unlimited resources to help my students.
The process that I go through with my students, is to first get to know them because people learn better when they are comfortable. Second I want to hear from them what they struggle with and then look at their past work. From there I can come up with a plan that will help them learn and improve their ability to work in the area they are struggling in.
