Hello!
My name is Jennifer www.*** I'm attending college at the local community colleges here in the Bay Area. I have 6 years of Nanning experience and will begin tutoring math at the college learning center this fall. I'm pursuing an engineering degree, and it has given me plenty of math experience. I am patient, companionate, and flexible, but most of all I love math and love to teach it. I am currently watching kids with ADHD and have lots of experience with helping with HW. I can provide references from families that I've work with, as well as letters of recommendations from my instructors

Hi! I am a current sophomore at one of the top 10 universities in the country studying Sociology on track to graduate Summa Cum Laude. Before this, I graduated high school at the young age of 15 where I also led National Honor Society, won a multitude of academic awards, and graduated with 9 Advanced Placement courses and a 4. 1 GPA under my belt. Having been accepted to some of the top universities in the country, I can say confidently that I am well suited to tutor you or your student. I have over 5 years of experience speaking Spanish and have been teaching it to students aged 6-15 for the last year. As far as Mathematics go, I passed the AP Calculus exam with flying colors, and am currently taking a college-level mathematics course. I may not have experience teaching Calculus but am very capable of doing so with my extensive history volunteer tutoring in geometry and elementary algebra that I will be able to translate to a more advanced math subject.

I do tutor in person and online. But I recommend that if we tutor in person to meet in a public place for the first time because its for safety reasons. I'm reliable and extremely smart i'm amazing with kids annd i am eligible to tutor kids with ADHD and ADD because I myself I have this disorder so I know how to work with it. I tutor math and english for middle schoolers and under. I am quite flexible with my schedule and open to most options. I will tutor you and also help with homework. I also will give prizes as we give pratice items for a little more motivation especially when working with the hyperactive children.

I'm Caitlynn! I graduate West Career and Technical Academy with a specialization in Sports Medicine. In High School, the classes I appreciated most weren't the ones that I found most interesting. Rather, it was the teachers that kept the subjects interesting. These teachers were always engaging and comprehensible when teaching the material in the classroom, and went the extra mile when I asked for extra help or clarification. I try to bring this knowledge to my tutoring approach and do everything I can to make it a pleasurable experience.
I have a year of tutoring experience with helping in 9th and 10th grade English. I work directly with any student who needs additional help.
I have a year of tutoring experience with helping in 9th and 10th grade Algebra. I work directly with any student who needs additional help. I also held small focus groups of 5-10 students who additionally needed the help. I also worked with students in class to ensure that they would not fall behind in that subject area.
I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible, therefore welcome any resources students or parents have to offer. I am easy to reach and will always respond in a timely manner. Feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions or want to schedule a lesson!

In my opinion, tutoring is not just about teaching the fundamentals but also about listening. Each individual student has a specific manner in which they learn best. It is my endeavor to uncover this and fine-tune instructions so the student can receive what is being explained as well as perhaps discovering how to grasp the concepts better on their own. Creating an environment where learning is fun; to take the chore and dread out of a subject which might not be their favorite is beneficial. Being constructive in my methods to boost the student’s confidence in the subject or project is what I strive for. I am compassionate, passionate, detail oriented and punctual. Additionally, I have assisted children with autism with communication challenges, difficulties with social interaction and gaining confidence. It is with this broad range of skills I creatively pull from that I feel I would be a wonderful extension of your team. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you and the possibility of working with you in the near future. 2004-2005- substitute teacher in private school in various subjects grades K-7. Main focus - English, Art, and Spanish, but not limited to. I have taught art classes privately with small groups of children as well as private individual lessons. Recently I taught 17 autistic students art. The curriculum was designed and written by me and has had overwhelming success. Each class was organized around a different artist or style. Students used colored pencils, colored paper, crayons, stickers and more to create pieces inspired by those artists, as well as pop culture and politics. At the end of each class they explained to the other students why they felt their project supported the style taught. They had direction as well as freedom to make choices as an artist. They learned “public speaking” in a safe environment. (To be noted- this is often extremely difficult for people on the spectrum.) To bring enthusiasm to whatever I am instructing is a part of what I aspire to. I have extensive training and continuing education in art and oil painting. I am adept in acrylic paint as well. Figure and portrait drawing classes and workshops in advanced color application and methods from some of the leading artists in the country have been studied.
**TO BE NOTED - my per hour fee range average is $35 to $85. It depends on the position and what is needed/required. (I did not see where to qualify this aspect. Special needs, etc. could vary my rates as well - so many variables and situations.)
