My name is Kristen and I'm a 25 year-old physical therapy graduate student who is graduating May 2020. I have worked as a graduate assistant for Anatomy/Physiology and Kinesiology during graduate school. I have experience in tutoring Mathematics, Science, and Psychology. Growing up in the public school system, I realized its greatest fault is an apathy towards learning. Instructors merely teach towards a test, students are judged only by their ability to score high on exams. While it is a tutor's main goal to bring those scores up, I hope to create a learning environment in which students genuinely enjoy the material and become actively curious about the subjects they are exposed to. Whether it's biology, chemistry, math, or writing, I aim to not only teach my students, but to engage them and lead them to an ongoing interst in their fields of study.

Hi! My name is Sarah and I am 20 years old. I am currently attending the University of Connecticut and I am in the Honors Program studying Biomedical Engineering. I have tutored students from grade 3 to college students. However, I am willing to tutor for any age. I specialize in mathematics and science but I can also tutor in other subjects such as elementary Spanish. In high school, I was in the high honor roll every year as well as the National Honors Society and the National Spanish Honors Society. I graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma, New York Regents Distinction, and mastery in science and mathematics. I'm Rahul P.! I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Technology and specializing in Electronics Engineering. In college, I realized that I was enjoying the lessons. It was not due to they are, but, our professors made it happen. These professors were always engaging in the class, and, always gone the extra mile, when asked for additional help. It motivated me to share my personal knowledge and experience with our younger ones. I apply different tools like - 'Lesson plans, Worksheets, Quizzes', to make the class engaging and enjoyable.
