I'm very passionate about helping more students with their subjects and I'm very eager to devote my time working as a tutor. I will keep my attention on finding the ways to explain concepts that are best suitable to a student. I've been tutoring all STEM subjects since my junior highschool and it turned out that the results of my tutoring were very good as all my students had a much better understanding of course concepts and become more efficient in solving problems. If you choose me to help you in any subjects listed, I promise I will not let you down because I have confidence in myself and I have confidence in every student who comes to find me.
For online tutoring: Zoom is preferred.

Hello, I am mirella. I am Italian and I have moved from Italy to the US a few years ago. I live in Baltimore and I also lived in Bologna and London. In Italy I used to be a tenured high school World History teacher. I have put together my own material, which has proven to be an efficient tool to support conversational topics with exercises and a little grammar.
I have become a licensed teacher in the US, ACTFL certified, and trained to teach Italian for AP Exam preparation. I am also familiar with SAT Italian, as well as CILS and CELI certifications. I am comfortable teaching all levels, from beginners to proficient. I look forward to meeting you, Ciao!

Привет!
Hello. I teach how to talk, how to write and how to read in the Russian language at the same time. At first, my students learn how our letters sound and we write them down. Next vocabulary: I give a word, type it in skype for my student, he or she reads it and write it down. This I do with students who can read and write, it means after we learn Russian alphabet.
Plus, I teach my students how to describe their weather (cold, warm, hot, rain, snow, wind - are main words for it). So, my student can tell me about his weather at our second lesson already.
My lessons are VERY EASY!!!! I don't take a lot of grammar rules and first vocabulary we learn with colorful cards. So, pretty quckly my students find out HOW to talk and WHAT to say. I use grammar rules very carefuly (for God sake I'll take a bit more grammar and kid-student loosing his or her interest).I do the same with adults but we take more words to learn. But everything depends on student and his or her target.
I work on my own teaching method for almost 8 years. It's made on consistency of building the vocabulary and grammar rules, that begins with simple word, short sentence and we "create" base of the Russian language knowledge. I spent years of finding logic ideas and plans for my lessons that were based on my own teaching experience and my students' inputs, removing all mistakes and misunderstanding in my lessons, so my lessons are useful, interesting and helpful.
I watch Masha and a Bear with my kids-students, in Russian, it's 10 minutes. We describe the episode later (5 minutes) and take new words and phrases from the show. But I do the same with adult students as well. But it depends only on my student desire or hie or her parent!
I prepare an audio recording with our new words and phrases after each lesson, so students can listen to it any time they want to and repeat everything, plus it's practice of pronunciation. But if my student has Russian parent, the parent can help with practicing new words with just looking at our lesson vocabulary and practicing it with his or her kid, that's why typing all new words is a great idea!

Hello, my name is Charis and I'm a native English speaker. I have always loved learning languages and had my first chance to learn Spanish at age 12. From then on I've had the pleasure of traveling to other countries and learning other languages such as Portuguese. As a language learner I know the struggle of being consistent and motivated to continue learning. I've spent countless hours assisting adults learn English as their second language. I'm always overjoyed when I hear their progress. I would love you continue this by offering my tutoring services to you as well as have an exchange of culture. After all to learn a language you must learn the people!
I have a high intermediate level of Spanish which allows me to assist complete beginners. I have spent the past year online assisting ESL students work towards becoming fluent.
The best way to become fluent in a second language is to use what you have learned! Don't hesitate to practice with me. I look forward to our first lesson!

To best influence the developing personality and skills of developing teenagers, educators
have the necessity to be well rounded across different skills inside and outside of the classroom. I
have accomplished a very long and personal goal to obtain a doctorate degree through my
persistence and dedication in every step of the way. Obtaining a doctorate degree gives me the
advantage of knowing the higher education system from a student perspective that I have been
able to apply to guide students.
I would be a true honor and personal goal to influence young minds into alternative science
careers. I’d like to do this by inspiring students to evaluate current scientific breakthroughs using
the scientific method to predict the application of these new findings for future investigations. In
short, my main goal is to inspire young minds to learn problem-solving techniques that will be
applicable inside and outside of the classroom.
