I'm very passionate about helping more students with their subjects and I'm very eager to devote my time working as a tutor. I will keep my attention on finding the ways to explain concepts that are best suitable to a student. I've been tutoring all STEM subjects since my junior highschool and it turned out that the results of my tutoring were very good as all my students had a much better understanding of course concepts and become more efficient in solving problems. If you choose me to help you in any subjects listed, I promise I will not let you down because I have confidence in myself and I have confidence in every student who comes to find me.
For online tutoring: Zoom is preferred.

Graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 1984 with a B. A. in Biology and minor in Chemistry. I began tutoring as an Upward Bounds Tutor Counselor upon graduating. I was responsible for eighteen recently graduated high school seniors. I acted as a liaison between students, professors and parents. Assisted students with English and college level Math classes. Later throughout the last 25 years+, have worked off and on as the need has presented itself as a Private Tutor Counselor for students 4 - 70 years old. Have successfully helped many students gain the skills and confidence in mastering difficult subjects. I tend to focus on Math, Algebra, and English Comprehension. I help students gain core strengths, and study skills which allows them to carry that knowledge into all aspects of their lives. I am confident that with work, dedication and commitment, that any and all students can reach their highest level of potential and academic success.

I'm a retired mathematics professor with a Ph. D. in mathematics and 35 years of full-time college teaching experience. I have taught courses in basic statistics, precalculus, calculus, ODEs, linear algebra, probability, non-Euclidean geometry, real analysis, complex analysis, set theory, and logic. I am prepared to tutor in any of these subjests.
In tutoring, I take a Socratic approach. I try not to tell a student how to solve a problem, but instead I ask leading questions to help the student figure it out for themselves.
I live in Hammond IN, and will meet students in my home, their homes, or coffee shops throughout Northwes Indiana.

I have been teaching English Language Arts since 1997. My experience includes teaching reading and writing, project based learning, journalism and communications, media literacy, and state test preparation. I have also taken a College Board course in teaching AP Language/Literature and Composition. I was voted an Educator of Excellence in Wood County in 2005, and was noted in "Who's Who Among American Teachers" in 2004. From 2008-2010, I was involved in the Ohio Performance Based Assessment Pilot Project, where I worked with other educators from across the state to help develop new curriculum in English Language Arts. I have worked with a wide variety of students from urban to rural, upper class to economincally disadvantaged advantaged, and learning disabled to gifted, so I am well versed in how to deal with all types of student emotional and academic needs.

I am a former Chicag Teacher providing in-person tutoring sessions tailored to a child's academic needs in foundational skills in Reading. I believe in teaching strategies so students can apply to academics and beyond. Providing and creating resources that students can touch and feel is key to learning at such a young age. I teach the child first, we work together, and then the child independently completes activities.

I am a junior in high school. I have had all As in high school so far and am taking 3 AP classes this year; ap language, ap biology, and ap Spanish. I am currently on the varsity swim team, tennis team, math team, and amnesty international. I am also on the student voice committee, which helps my school become safer for students. I am in NHS(national honors society and English NHS. I have been tutoring children for the summer and have really enjoyed it! Math is one of my best classes but I am well rounded in everything so I would be qualified to help with all types of homework. I like to teach children from grade 1 to grade 8 because I have mastered most of those skills and feel comfortable teaching them. I usually tutor by sharing my screen and working through a problem. I think examples are the best way to learn. Also, I recommend having the camera on because I believe it increases engagement. As well, I require my students to be unmuted so we can openly communicate and discuss any problems or queries.

Hello! I want to start off with my number one tutoring philosophy, which is that every one of my students are first friends, then tutees. I have over three years of experience tutoring all areas of Math and Science, as well as English grammar and writing. Currently SAT and PSAT are my main focus. I graduated high school as valedictorian, and am currently an honors fellow at the University of Miami with a double major of Public Health and Business Administration. I also run division one cross country and track and field. It is truly my passion to help students of all ages succeed in whatever they desire to learn, and I cannot wait to meet you and help you on your journey!

My name is Meghan, and I am an analyst who enjoys teaching and learning mathematics. I graduated from Providence College in 2016 with a B. A. in English and Mathematics, and I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2019 with a M. S. in Mathematics. I have one year of experience in teaching Business Calculus and have tutored students of all age groups in courses like: Algebra, College Algebra, Calculus, and Precalculus.
When I first became interested in Mathematics, I struggled to understand abstract concepts, how to make sense out of applications, and how to prepare for exams. It took a lot of time, practice, and diligence to become a better mathematician. As someone who struggled with mathematics, I understand how daunting math can be. I understand what it feels like to think you understand a concept but then feel completely confused on a homework assignment or an exam. I love helping others not only understand mathematics but also enjoy it. I put my students first and work tirelessly to make sure they meet their personal goals.
Having taught diverse groups of students, including students with varying backgrounds in Mathematics, I know that not everyone learns mathematics the same way. My lessons are personalized, thorough, and designed to meet your priorities. I take an intuitive approach on teaching; I aim to help you build intuition on concepts so that you understand how to apply them. This means that I will spend time helping you understand the logic behind certain ideas rather than simply throwing specific problems your way. The goal is for you to approach problems with ease and to not just know how to do very specific types of problems. Please contact me to set up a time to meet. I can't wait to begin our mathematical journey!

I ensure that my students gains full understanding of the fundamental concepts which would build a solid foundation for them in their subject areas.
I specialize in computer programming languages and software engineering. I would help the students with their homework and assignments. I believe, school grades can only help one to win a job at a multinational company; but the strong conceptual understanding is what helps one in long term. That would be my focus.

Hi, I'm Lauren, a current undergraduate student at Pennsylvania State University studying Business Management with minors in Spanish and Entrepreneurship.
As some background on my own education, I am currently an undergraduate student at Penn State studying Business Management with minors in Spanish and Entrepreneurship. I am fortunate to currently hold a www.*** gpa at the school, and graduated at the top 10% of my high school class. While I have currently been taking business courses, during my time in high school I took all AP and Honors Courses, such as AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, and AP Psychology! I loved taking these classes and continue to enjoy my education. I have always had a passion for learning and now enjoy helping others learn as well. I am very adaptable and patient and like to work with students to find what works well for them!
I am a certified Microsoft Specialist and I have been tutoring for 5 years now in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Elementary Math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre Algebra, Spanish, Geometry, AP Prep, and Study Skills. I am very familiar with the AP tests as I took AP Calculus AB, BC, and Psychology and scored 4, 4, and 5, respectively.
I have worked with kids in the past as well with elementary math and other school subjects! Additionally, being a business student I have experience with college level coursework and business classes. I excel at organization, study techniques, and note taking, and have been tutoring other college students in these areas as well.
If there are any questions that you may have about me, my education and background, or how I could be of help, send a message and I would be happy to answer!
