My name is Malika G.! I am currently an elementary school teacher in the Houston area! My passion is teaching and working with kids. I have tremendous experience with children. My first job was a swim instructor where I gave swim lessons to all ages. I then became a Dance Instructor where I taught Bollywood dance to children ages 5-15. I was also a Montessori teacher for 2 years and was responsible for children ages 0-5 years. In addition to all of this, I am the eldest out of my cousins and siblings in my family and have pretty much taken up responsibility of helping care for them since a very young age. Hi! My name is Abigail, and while I have no formal training in the education field, I am able to help out anyone in need of school tutoring! With the multiple subjects I have listed within my profile, I feel sure that I am able to help those who ask for it! As I am currently a Junior in high school (graduating next school year 2020-2021), I do not have the full capabilites to help with any subjects. However, I am willing to help with the subjects I am able to! I have taken several science, math, social studies, and english courses in my school as well as up to level 4 of the German language. As for science, I range from basic earth science to chemistry to human anatomy to medical terminology! Math is from Elementary (K-5), Middle (6-8), and High school (Algebra 1-Prob and Stats, opted out of Precalc and Calculus classes). In the English department, I will be in English 4 this upcoming school year, but I have also taken Creative Writing courses to help further my ability to help with English classes. For Social Studies, I can do anything from Middle (grades 6-8) to Highschool (with the exception of Government, Economy, and any AP classes).

Darrell is an experienced living historian in 17th, 18th, 19th & 20th century military history with a wide breadth of knowledge and expertise in portraying history on stage and screen. Darrell coordinates the Historic Insights team to bring professional and hands-on consulting to filmmakers and their staffs. Darrell is a former Associate Staffer for the Cultural Attache of the Embassy of Iraq in Washington DC, an Eagle Scout, and an active community leader and historic preservationist in Orange County, CA. Aside from military history Darrell is also well versed in literature, linguistics, and anthropology. Darrell speaks Italian, Spanish, & Arabic.
Darrell is a very effective tutor, and helps students catch up with classwork, prepare for class tests, AP tests, SAT subject tests, etc. He is quite effective in assisting students in improving their writing for history tests, from DBQs to free response and short answer questions.
