Hello! My name is Miracle, and I am a Creative Writing Major at Interlochen Arts Academy. I am open for private lessons or tutoring on any subject pertaining to writing, whether it be a personal narrative or rhetorical analysis. I would be able to work during the summer (June - mid-August) and short periods of time in December and March as I am a student. Can't wait to work with you!
Hello, I am looking for students who would like to improve reading and writing skills.
I also work with students to build confidence in public speaking.
My intellectual curiosity, love of learning, and desire to positively impact the lives of others ultimately lead me into the field of education. I believe that the purpose of education is to equip an individual with the necessary tools to problem solve, effectively communicate, and think critically. The quality of education that children receive in their early years is pivotal to their development and success later in life.
I am currently working as a Kindergarten teacher in an inclusive classroom for Baltimore City Public Schools. I hold two Maryland Educator Certificates, in Elementary Education and Special Education. In May 2016, I completed the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Johns Hopkins University. I also have experience working with students with Autism and other special needs.
I believe that as a teacher, I contribute to the development of dynamic and engaging learning environments for students. I look forward to working with your child/student!

I love working with people and miss the individual teaching that occurs in a classroom. Currently, I am an administrator in a high school and am looking to get back to working with students. In the past, I have worked with high school and college level students but would also love to work with younger students. I taught English in two high schools and at the university level when I was getting my first master's. I am currently working on my doctorate. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at: ***@***
A little bit about me: I am married, have a son, and am currently pregnant with a girl. I also have a dog and two cats. I love spending time outdoors and exercising. I have a lot of energy and would love to work with you!
Hello! I can tutor Math, Science, and English for K-12 students. I am very flexible and happy to work with you. Please reach out if you have any questions.
My name is Rachel and I have eight years of experience teaching elementary/middle school. I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential through individualized instruction!
I have worked in education for more than 20 years. I've worked with students in all grades in public, independent, charter, and special education schools. Extensive experience with students with ADHD and learning differences. My goal is to help your son or daughter develop the skills and confidence that they need to succeed not just in school, but in whatever they do in their lives.
I am a retired English teacher. I can help with all things English, including SAT prep, exam prep, research papers, Shakespeare, English Literature, American Literature and more. My students have given me the feedback that I put them at ease. This is what I love to do, and I would look forward to working with you.
I am a high school senior i will be fully graduated this June but I participated in the early exit program this year so I am currently done with senior year ! I took many challenging classes and wanted to help others excel academically as well. I am very good at math I took up to honors pre-calc but am going to continue in college this fall of course! I also enjoy writing and English class has always been a very good grade of mine just as math has. Looking forward to helping someone out!
I completed my undergraduate degree at The College of New Jersey, where I double majored in Elementary Education and Psychology. I also have my Masters in school counseling from The College of New Jersey. While in college, I worked at Bright Horizons Family Development center working in the toddler and preschool rooms for about 5 years. After graduation, I taught basic skills literacy and mathematics for 3 years, working with 1st-5th grade students. I have been teaching 1st grade for the past five years in East Windsor. I am happily married and have a 10-year old daughter who is in 5th grade. I have had experience with several families tutoring children in reading and math, ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade. I love to read and spend time with my family. My passion has always been to help students reach their highest potential.
I have always had a passion for teaching, and I would like to share that passion with others. Currently I am looking for tutoring jobs with children ages 4 – 15. I have experience with non-paid tutoring through an outreach program run by my high school. I can provide help with Math, English, Reading and Writing, and basic arithmetic. I am currently offering virtual sessions through either facetime or zoom. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to set up a session.
I look forward to working with you!
When working with a new student I like to get to know them personally. I try to tailor my approach based on the students needs and wants. I also offer a free “meet - up” session prior to the start of booked sessions. This “meet - up” allows me to get to know the student and discuss what type of learner they would be. Also I would like to review any study materials relevant to future sessions.
Sessions are one hour long and cost $15, and if you agree to 5 sessions the price is $70. I require a 30% deposit one week prior to the session. The rest is required the day of the session. No refunds under any circumstance.
Teaching has always been a passion for me. In addition to tutoring I also volunteer for my religious ministry regularly.
I am the Writing Center Director of Lancaster Bible College, as well as an English professor. I have several years of experience tutoring middle, high school, and college students, specifically with writing, English, and Language Arts.
I am a retired, PA certified sixth grade teacher of 35 years. Although I am retired, I enjoy continuing my work and connection with young people. My retirement experiences have included the nannying of school age children and the tutoring of a variety of school age children from first to eighth grade in all manner of school subjects. I emphasize the importance of learning and the use of good study skills. I will work with the school systems if necessary and strenghten relationships between the child and the school. In addition to my academic tutoring, I also teach children and adults how to sew.
I have been teaching for 5 years now. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade, and in addition to that I have been tutoring after work. I have experience tutoring in math, language arts, and writing.
