American History, American Government, and Geography Tutor in the Metro area. Originally from rural Minnesota, I now live in Apple Valley and attend Concordia University, St. Paul. I am a junior this year studying 5-12 Social Studies Education with an emphasis in History and Political Science. I begin my clinicals next fall and my anticipated graduation date is May 2020. Please reach out to me if you are in need of a Social Studies tutor! I'd love to share my knowledge to help others grasp content :)
I am currently a senior in high school and have decided to take up tutoring not only to help others succeed, but to earn a few extra bucks doing so. I have received scores of 5s on all the subjects I offer to tutor (plus a perfect 800/800 on the SAT world history subject test). I have received these scores through taking them in school and preparing for them on my own outside of class, and would say that anyone has the potential to succeed in whatever they choose to take with a little preparation and help. I'd love to help anyone who has lofty academic goals, such as myself .
(My only downfall: AP Physics 1.)
You can choose from different ACT/SAT packages based on how much time you have before the tests. Pre and post test included. I use a professional program purchased by a prestigious and exclusive training school based out of Chicago. A personal favor from the author of the books. I am located in Houston,TX.
French, math, algebra, geometry, psychology, film studies, grammar, English literature, American government, essay writing, US constitutional history, and social studies tutor in Avondale, AZ.
Hi, my name is Madison and I am a freshman at Florida State University. I graduated high school with a www.*** GPA and as an active participant in my school's Advanced Placement program. Throughout my high school career, I took the following AP courses: Language and Composition, Psychology, Macroeconomics, Art History, English Literature, Studio, Government, and Thinking skills. Receiving 4's and 5's on all of my AP exams. I pride my success in these courses on my study methods and test guides, two things I would love to share with anyone I tutor. With a holistic understanding of each of my designated subjects I would love the opportunity to help anyone struggling in these fields and leave my tutoring sessions with studying tips they can apply to any subject regardless of the one they are receiving tutoring for.
I am a recent college graduate, who has spent the past 4 years devouring any sort of information about Political Science and History. As someone who has a learning disability themself (ADHD), I believe I am more than qualified to tutor and connect with students who possess ADD or ADHD as well. Going through school, I always wished I had a teacher that "got" the way that I worked, and I aim to be that kind of tutor in my professional life. As a tutor, I won't just hammer information into a student's head, rather I will work with them to make sure that they fully understand and digest the complicated world of Politics as well as the long winding tale of History.
My minor in college was Creative Writing, with a special emphasis on historical and political analysis of literary texts. As a tutor, I will work to instill a mind of critical analysis into my student, and help them develop their own creative voice.
I have always been interested and passionate about history. I had my nose stuck in my history book in fifth grade and have loved learning about how our world has gotten where it is today. My senior year of high school I had five AP history courses and passed all five exams with a max score on two, Government and European History, and fours on the rest. I had graduated high school with my first two years of my undergraduate degree. I currently am a Political Science student at UCF and will be graduating in 2019. I have tutored my classmates in history starting my junior year in American History, and have helped my peers in everything from World History all the way through my American Presidency course at UCF this semester. I have been certified by AP exams as very qualified(A rating of 4) in World History, American History, Macro Economics, Micro Economics, and extremely qualified (A five rating) in American Government and European History.
