I am a NYC public school educator who graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2011. I have been teaching high school level Earth science for 8 years and have a professional NYS teaching certification/license in Earth Science grades 7 - 12. My passion for teaching science extends far beyond the classroom, and it is my goal to help you or your child achieve mastery in Earth science through private tutoring sessions. I have experience in administering the Earth science lab practicum, and teaching Earth science Regents prep classes to prepare students for state exams. I have a personal rocks and minerals collection, and other lab materials that allow me to do hands-on laboratory work with you or your child. This helps to deepend and solidify their understanding of the complex interrelationships that occur on Earth and throughout our universe. I also have experience teaching children with special needs, and individualized education programs (IEPs) as well as children with autism. |
