I came to the United States in 2015, and started to learn English. I love to teach and make the learning process easy and fun. I started tutoring when I returned to school, helping my classmates in my two math classes. I have worked mostly with at-risk students, most at the high school level, and some at the college level. I taught Algebra and Geometry for 1 1/2 years as a long term substitute teacher in a high school. While I loved teaching in the classroom, I much prefer the one-on-one relationship that tutoring provides. I want to be sure my students understand the concepts we are covering, not simply memorizing rules or steps just to find a solution. There is nothing more satisfying -- for tutor and student -- than when the "light" goes on and the student fully understands what he/she is doing!

I have been studying, teaching and researching in the field of chemistry for over 15 years. I have mentored and conducted multiple review sessions for students. Because of my extensive laboratory experience, I allow the student the visualize a given problem, thus making them much more enjoyable and easier to solve.
I am happy to teach you the fundamentals of chemistry in a way that will be very enjoyable for you and you are not counting the minutes to stop studying. Chemistry takes time to learn, I will make sure you push through the barrier that makes chemistry a difficult subject, and reach a level where you are very comfortable with solving any problem that is presented to you. I am available to help anytime and will respond to your need promptly.

I have been learning Japanese, in a school setting, for three years. I have learned outside of school through various apps and friends. I have maintained a 4 .0 (sometimes 4 .5)gpa throughout all of middle and high school. Last year, I helped a japanese foreign exchange student with every subject. Throughout the school years, many students have asked me for assistance with their homework- I guess you could say I've been tutoring for free! So, I thought I would start getting paid to do something I love. I also offer childcare services for 0-12 years old.

I finished my high school in Hong Kong, now I am studying in ELAC with biochemistry major. I have experienced the eastern and the western teaching style, eastern one is more like exam oriented and the western one is more focusing on the concept. But I think those two elements should make a balance. In my class, I will combine those two elements, you will learn the concept and the skills when taking the exam.
