I use my knowledge of long-term learning to do more than tutor, but to also foster a love of learning. My goal is to help my students maintain what they learn well after the lessons are over.

Dance, Basic math, prealgebra and English lessons in Pacific Palisades, CA.
I have been learning Japanese, in a school setting, for three years. I have learned outside of school through various apps and friends. I have maintained a 4 .0 (sometimes 4 .5)gpa throughout all of middle and high school. Last year, I helped a japanese foreign exchange student with every subject. Throughout the school years, many students have asked me for assistance with their homework- I guess you could say I've been tutoring for free! So, I thought I would start getting paid to do something I love. I also offer childcare services for 0-12 years old.
Hi! I am a high school student who is really good with tutoring. I have tutored many kids in the past and would love to help out. I accept payment through Paypal. Thanks!

I am a premedical student pursuing to get a bachelor degree from UCLA by 2020 and willing to tutor in physics, math, chemistry and biology up to college level.
My experience includes being a peer tutor for people in my classes for two years, tutoring the ages of 7-14 for one and a half years, and serving as a peer counselor assisting peers in college applications which required tutoring and counseling training. I am passionate about education and helping others succeed. My goal is to find ways to incorporate different learning styles into various activities to ensure everyone understands their material rather than just be told to learn it. With any of my past or future experience, I hope to make a big step towards my goal and know that expanding what I know can be accomplished. For example, in my University (University of California-Davis), I learn how to care for animals, network, write journalism articles and creative pieces, and most importantly, teach others various subjects. I am eager to learn, adapt, engage, and, most of all, be a great tutor.
Hello. I am a Pre-medical student. I am currently working in a healthcare field and during my free time I tutor students.
Hello, my name is Ariadne C. I am a tutor for basic math for younger kids. I am 16 years old.
I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology from SDSU and was on the pre-med track so have a lot of experience with Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biology. I was frequently the one holding review sessions for my peers the night before an exam. In the following years, I attained about 3 years of tutoring experience. There is no greater satisfaction than seeing a concept or theory click with a student. I have also learned to appreciate that each student has a unique learning style and am very capable of tailoring my teaching style to their wants and needs.

I'm a private math tutor with a BS degree in mathematics. I tutor all math up to Math Analysis and Pre-calculus. I also tutor all three sections of the SAT. I've been tutoring for 19 years. My strength is finding a way to explain a difficult concept in simpler terms that work for each particular student. I have the necessary equipment to tutor online and make it just like I'm sitting next to the student.

Here, our services go over at a slow pace to ensure that our students understands the curriculum. Our teaching is very flexible, allowing the child to go slower in difficult subjects while challenging previously known knowledge. Your child will be able to excell in no time!
For my math students, I hope to make sure they understand. Anybody can memorize something, but to understand is just exceeding that standard. I'll begin by giving a simple problem in most instances that I'll have them look over and use their logical systemic approach to examine with. They'll use their logic to examine, and if they get it right, great! If they make mistakes, it's great too, because now we can go over it during the lesson to show what to do and why!
For my English students, I want them to use their imagination. Books and writings are based off imagination, not knowledge. You can take as much information as possible, but if you have no way to imagine how you'll present that, then it won't work. My teaching in this subject will go over this, and I hope I can improve their skills throughout the course.
I have worked with a family member who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), so I did work with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapists for about three years, but I have no problem working with any other students.
I feel very happy to teach, so I do not hope for mush. I wish to mainly teach online through Zoom primarily so that I can show the work since I do not wish to use my source of transportation to travel many distances as I'm a minor. I would set a standard of twelve dollars an hour, the minimum for minimum wages in California.
I'm currently a sophomore in college at the California State University of Fullerton. I currently work as a supplemental instruction leader for a college algebra class. I've always gotten A's in my math classes and I have a good understanding of the logic and basics that go into mathematics.

Hello, my name is Connor www.*** I have always enjoyed mathematics and physics. I am currently attending college at Cal Poly Pomona to receive a bachelors degree in applied mathematics, in order to become a math professor. I have been a paid tutor for 3 years, but I have tutored friends and family members since the sixth grade, so I thought this would be a great job for me. I like to use imagery and real life examples to help students not just know how to do the problem, but to understand WHY it works. I work well with kids and I love all kinds of animals. Although my main expertise is mathematics I do have a very good understanding of entry level physics. I am available Mondays and Wednesdays from 6am to 11am, also Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm to 6pm. For more information please contact me through my phone: ( tel: ***
I'd be more than excited to share my experiences and help you or the student in any way possible :)
