Students from 6-18 years have benefited from my in-person and online tutoring since 2018. It’s been my joy to support them with homework, test prep, reading comprehension, grammar, ESL, and test prep including SAT. I’ve also helped those with ADHD. My love of writing began in high school as the editor of San Francisco’s Cathedral High School newspaper. It continued throughout my higher education at San Francisco State University--ultimately leading me to become a published author. I am also a professional editor and writing coach.
I am not just an English/writing tutor, but I studied leadership development, communications skills, time management, and emotional intelligence for years and I taught these and other skills to adults in the SF Bay Area for 20 years. Personalized online tutoring can produce great results! The experience of working with a private tutor can be amazingly productive! I can help with homework, essay composition, public speaking, SAT and test preparation, ESL, ADD and ADHD issues. As a writing and English tutor, I use a combination of Google Docs and Zoom or FaceTime or just phone conversations with Google Docs. I love to be of service to parents and their children, as well as being a trusted resource for teachers and school counselors.

Hello! My name is Eric and I am a upcoming senior at University of California, Davis and am currently majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. I am a pre-medical student looking to gain some extra experience this summer while at home and would be very excited to work with you in order to teach you the foundations of science or math. Hi! I am a current sophomore at one of the top 10 universities in the country studying Sociology on track to graduate Summa Cum Laude. Before this, I graduated high school at the young age of 15 where I also led National Honor Society, won a multitude of academic awards, and graduated with 9 Advanced Placement courses and a 4. 1 GPA under my belt. Having been accepted to some of the top universities in the country, I can say confidently that I am well suited to tutor you or your student. I have over 5 years of experience speaking Spanish and have been teaching it to students aged 6-15 for the last year. As far as Mathematics go, I passed the AP Calculus exam with flying colors, and am currently taking a college-level mathematics course. I have had an interest in science since I was 8 years old. I always read on recent research papers since high school. What makes me a good science tutor is the experience as both: a tutor and a student. As a student I know how to study for science topics and how to knit all the things we learn in this subject together. During my undergraduate, I was able to get an A on every science class and graduate as a Summa Cum Laude along with got great reviews from my tutees.
