I graduated from Princeton Unversity, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering in Spring 2018. I am currently applying to medical schools, but have always had a passion for teaching - whereas I began tutoring other students - both younger and the same age as I - as a freshman in high school. I continued during my summer breaks from college, even though I had various internships and research jobs. I am working full-time (40 hours a week) as a clinical research assistant at CHOP, but would love to continue to teach on the side! I love working with everyone from children to young adults. I am willing to work out location, hours, and what services I am willing to provide, depending on the student -- this includes via skype for interested students that are not in the Philadelphia area. Please contact me for interest and pricing and I am sure we can work something out!

Hi! I am a positive and creative former teacher! I started teaching right out of college in 2015. I taught in Jacksonville, FL for two years and Newark, NJ for two years. During my time in Jacksonville, I taught middle school science (6th, 7th, and 8th grade!). When I moved back up north, I taught 9th grade biology and 9th grade physics as well as AP Biology. Although I have stepped out of the classroom, I still teach saturday school at a charter a charter school in the Bronx as a volunteer. At this school, I teach 5th grade math. Even though I spent my time as a formal teacher in science classrooms, I often pushed in to math classrooms as extra support, specifically in Algebra 1. Lastly, I taught in both General Ed classrooms as well as Special Ed classrooms, so I am comfortable with accomodations and modifications as outlined in IEP and 504 plans! I strongly believe in meeting the needs for every individual child so all can have the "ah-ha" moments that learning brings!

As far as it comes to general education: I've been there, and I've done that. Having said that, I'd like to denote the absolute importance of true learning and actual knowledge of a subject - something that is difficult to ascertain in a classroom where you are simply going through the motions of socialisation.
So if you're looking to cut through the mundane and get a deeper understanding of some material, or if you're looking for someone to help you game the system to turn busy work into light work - then I'm your guy.
Also, don't be discouraged by the thought that I won't be able to translate the material well to someone that isn't accustomed to AP classes, rather, consider it like so: I can help provide that deeper "AP analysis and understanding" without all of the "rigor", or rather, all the busy work, cramming material, www.*** it as getting a taste of an AP experience through a much friendlier, understanding, and eloquent medium that has seen what works and what doesn't work in terms of teaching students, and can therefore pick and choose the good from the bad to help you make sense of the www.*** said that, here are some of my credentials:I've taken 11 APs throughout my high school career:-AP Economics (5/4)-AP Lang and Comp (5)-AP Calc BC (3)-AP Physics 1 (3)-AP US History (5)-AP Psych (4)-AP Lit and Comp (-)-AP Comp Sci A (-)-AP Statistics (-)-AP Physics C (-)-AP French Lang (-)I have a 97(dot)91/100 weighted GPA, which translates in practicality to a 4(dot) www.*** seems this website censors dots as websites, which is a bit odd.

Tutoring Approach/Experience
APPROACH:I focus on understanding of the concepts and developing the student's ability to solve problems -- rather than tedious drill and temporary www.*** I get results! (Demonstrated score improvement, passing courses, raising grades, etc.)2. Knack for establishing good rapport with each www.*** Focus on understanding concepts and developing skills and strategies to solve www.*** Also, my ability to make things understandable, in writing and in www.*** :30+ years college teaching, plus private tutoring in academic subjects and "test-prep" techniques. Also taught and/or managed many employee-training programs. Developed curricula for training programs, civil-service exam preparation courses, etc. as well as for after-school science clubs and summer www.*** professional career was primarily in software development and management, at Brookhaven National Lab (BNL), Grumman, Robotic Vision, American Science, and other Long Island companies, and as a software consultant and website www.*** am also a professional writer, with thousands of pages published, and I currently host two weekly radio shows on a local radio station. Since my early retirement from BNL in 1999, I have increased my teaching and tutoring, as well as my professional writing and radio-broadcasting activities.

I am passionate about teaching others and enjoy subjects such as math and science. Having received high grades in high level math classes (honors and advanced placement), I understand the struggles students may face. I can teach kindergarten and middle school level classes, as well as algebra I. Furthermore, I have experience teaching students anywhere from kindergarten to 9th grade. I am energetic and friendly, and am open to teaching in different styles. Additionally, I can provide homework assignments and extra help resources!

Hi, first off I love children and seeing their minds expand while guiding, teaching, and helping them through all types of work and subjects. I have tutored over 15 children in the past year, ages 4-14! My GPA in school is a 3. 9 and I love to help children that are struggling or just need help with a certain topic. School online because of COVID19, is tough and could be frustrating at times .. but that's why I'm here to help!

Hi! I am Harmony. I am very passionate women towards learning and curiosity. I specialize my services in: Science (Pre-Elementary/Middle), English (TEOL), Math (Elementary, Middle), Science Fair Prep (all ages), and Innovative Thinking (all ages).
My goal is to make learning fun and interesting. I want to prepare you or your child for their education and help discover he/she potential and learning styles to help them develop effective study habits.
My background lies in the STEM industry. I have studied engineering for 4 years at a Vo-Technical high school. There, we took the required courses you would take in college and worked hands-on with CNC machines/lathes. We also established our visual preferences using Siemens NX, 3D-Modeling software to bring our innovative ideas to life. I took my STEM background to a new environment right after high school and decided to volunteer as a science fair judge.
