Hi! You can call me Usha since my name is quite hard to pronounce. I am a junior in high school and I am enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. I am a straight-A student and I LOVE www.*** ; I also work well with middle schoolers. I used to volunteer as a tutor and I absolutely loved it. Not to brag but I was pretty good at www.*** ;Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, I will not meet any students face to face and I will teach through online resources. The fees are also www.*** ;I am willing to provide any help needed and I hope we have a great time learning.
Hi! My name is Maredliz. I am 18yrs old and attend the University of Central Florida. I have a www.*** GPA as well as 5+ years of experience tutoring grades 2-12th. Hello! My name is Victoria, and I am a first-year-student at the University of Central Florida working towards a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. I have experience tutoring mostly in math and science, but I am willing to work with your student on other courses as well (social studies, english, etc.). I am able to assist in the completion of homework assignments, as well as prep for exams. My schedule is pretty flexible, and on most days I am free after 2:00 p. m.
I am a retired teacher still seeking to help children suceed in academics. I am certified in Elementary Education (grades K-6), Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum (grades 5-9), and ESOL. $40/hr.
Taught in small private boarding school 1961-1963 Algebra 1 Biology. I have worked at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital as Chaplain and Assistant Hospital Administrator as well as a children's Psychiatric Hospital. These seven years of experience with special needs individuals have given me the skills to work with most individuals. My many years as pastor of six churches allowed me to with children and young people on a regular basis. For 15 years I coordinate and taught in an afterschool program at Community Presbyterian Church, Chester, NJ. I have also taught at the undergraduate university level in Kenya and at the graduate level at Drew University Theological School.
Along with my basic tutoring subjects, I can also help those wanting to learn a second language. I am fluent in American Sign Language. I took three years of ASL in High School, was in the ASL Honors society, and still use it on a daily basis.
Although I may be young, I personally feel as if it is a better connection to the student. I can find something the student can relate to in order to grasp a better understanding to the topic. I am apart of the IB program as a junior at Fort Myers High School so iv'e covered just about every form of learning techniques out there and will be sure ti figure out which one is best for you.
Our son had a dream to get into the Ivy League. I guided and worked with him to successfully prepare and reach his goal. With diverse technical and English language skills, I am a positive, empathetic, resourceful individual with varied experience in teaching youth and adults. Interested in education, I was certified at one time and thought about eventually teaching as we watched our son grow through private school. At work, I mentored interns and guided professionals, wrote software documentation for educating technical and non-technical users, and did product training for young sales representatives.
Outside my profession, I instructed both youth and adults in learning details of their faith.
My belief in the parents' role in effective education was confirmed as we watched activity at our son's schools and saw parents and their budding adults at the state science fair.
I would find it very rewarding to help your child reach their goal.
