I guarantee that I can make Algebra fun and easy for you. I taught Algebra I and II for twenty years at Bentwood School, a highly respected private school in West Los Angeles. Currently I live in North County, San Diego. We can work in person or online, whichever you prefer, and I tutor at no charge. One of my great strengths as a tutor is that I process slowly. As a result I see all the small steps that lead to the understanding of a new concept. Unfortunately Math teachers often move too quickly and leave students behind. I volunteer tutored most recently at MiraCosta College in Cardiff. When I was last evaluated, the Head of the tutoring Department acknowledged my contribution in this way: "Carole, when you leave the office, your often say that you float out of the room.
