In these times when school work is now at home, I am a very friendly and encouraging tutor that can help a student in an online format. I am very flexible and willing to work with your schedule and needs just let me know what I can do! Looking forward to learning with you.
I have been learning Japanese, in a school setting, for three years. I have learned outside of school through various apps and friends. I have maintained a 4 .0 (sometimes 4 .5)gpa throughout all of middle and high school. Last year, I helped a japanese foreign exchange student with every subject. Throughout the school years, many students have asked me for assistance with their homework- I guess you could say I've been tutoring for free! So, I thought I would start getting paid to do something I love. I also offer childcare services for 0-12 years old.
I have worked for L .A .C .E .R ./Beyond the Bell, running Homework Club at Le Conte Middle School. I have experience supervising up to 70 middle schoolers at one time. I was able to switch between subjects as the students required it.
I am a high school senior with a love for mathematics and physics, hoping to major in astrophysics in my future. I have taken and excelled in AP Calculus, AP Physics, and AP Literature and Composition. Tutoring will be my first job, however, I have plenty of experience helping out fellow students with challenging topics. Helping other students understand our world is my ultimate goal.
I am a graduate level tutor and I have 10+ years experience working with children. At the same time, I am also a freelance tutor and located in Glendale CA.
Hello! I am about to graduate from UCLA with Summa Cum Laude in Spanish & Communications. I happy to help students in all levels of Spanish (Lang/Hist/Lit), History, and English (Comp/Lit). I am an enthusiastic tutor with over 4 years of experience in the following subjects. My schedule is flexible and I am willing to commute! I always go the extra length with my students by making sure to support them in analyzing their course material and challenging them through personalized study aids!
Hi There, my name is Mafruha E. and I am a tutor who specializes in a multitude of fields. I mainly focus on teaching English literature as I have experience teaching English to both adults and students for two years. I tutor in biology, chemistry, and general science as well. Most of my students for science tutoring include both high schoolers and middle schoolers. That being said, if you are interested in hiring a tutor, I would love to help you out. Thank You
I am a high schoool honors student in the IB program at John F. Kennedy High School. This is the most rigorous acemedic program in the Anaheim Union High School district and it focuses on strengetning learning to preprare high school students for college and beyond. I have been in the program for two years and have loved the tips it has given me to succeed. I believe that I could pass these tips to students while providing an individual experice where students feel comfortable in the learning enviorment without pressure or stress they may feel with an actual teacher. Since I am a senior, I have been preparing to go to college and have recived accpetances from numerous Cal States and out of state univerities. I plan to study English in pursuit of becoming an English teacher someday so while I currently do not have any tutuoring experience, I belive having some tutoring experience under my belt would prove benificial for my future career goals. Thank you so much and I hope you consider me as a future tutor.

I am a student at California State University, Fullerton. . I believe that the perfect student is a well-rounded one; and my goal is to help create a generation of well-rounded students who will thrive in future school and work environments. I was a CSF tutor at my high school for both my junior and senior year. In both of my AP English exams, I received a score of 5 (the highest possible score one can receive). I also have experience volunteering with preschool-age students at a special-needs school, and I also have experience teaching Sunday school to children preschool to second grade. Given my experience, I have learned that the best approach to learning is a positive one, and I try to make learning interesting and engaging. Hello my name is Deir and I am a pre med student beginning medical school in 2021. I have been tutoring on and off for over 10 years helping a variety of students with their academic needs. I like to create a structure based on the individuals learning style, help them understand the material, and then show them how to adapt to other methods of learning so they get used to how other people may teach.
I am able to tutor in elementary, middle, and some high school level math, science, english, and basic spanish. I work well with elementary students and can connect well with middle and high schoolers.
I'm Ashley! I graduated Cum Laude from UCSD with a Bachelors's degree in Media Arts and a minor in Language Studies with a focus on American Sign Language. I have been tutoring English and ASL for the last five years and absolutely love helping students overcome their insecurities or fears in a subject that they struggle in. I have worked with all kinds of students from young elementary to adults learning English as a second language and have learned that every student learns differently, so I'm always excited to figure out how best to structure lessons or the way I explain material in order to help them to succeed!
I'm a very patient person, easy to talk to, and am always willing to go out of my way to provide extra help if needed. I'm a film major, not an English teacher, but I tutor because I love watching students gain confidence in a subject that they struggle in. Whether it's grasping a new element of material or moving up a reading level, I get just as excited as they do.
I am an ASL minor and have been signing for eight years. I absolutely love the language and am always excited to see new students choosing to learn it! At UCSD I helped found and was on the board of the ASL club which provided free tutoring sessions, homework help, and conversation practice for ASL students that needed extra help or wanted to improve their fluency. I also volunteered for a program on campus called Language Conversation Tables which allowed students to practice their language skills or learn a new language from their peers.
I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible and therefore welcome any resources or suggestions that students or parents can provide. I am easy to reach and will always provide quick responses. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!

I am 26, and have been tutoring formally and informally since I was 17. I've worked in most subjects but am mainly qualified to work in English composition and math. I've worked three years as an Instructional Assistant working largely with special needs children in K-12, and I've done extensive editing work in both professional, academic, and informal contexts. I am here because I appreciate the experience of tutoring and I'm interested in working in any subject I can, and with both adults and children.
