I can tutor elementary, and middle school students. For high-school students, I can tutor in pre-algebra, English 9-12, chemistry, anatomy, and psychology.

I am currently in the occupational therapy assistant program at Manchester Community College, and I have a Bachelor's degree in health sciences from Quinnipiac University. I would love to tutor someone in biology, psychology, or anatomy and physiology. I am also a published photographer and would love to teach others.

My experience and skills are relevant in my work at Downers Grove South. As a paraprofessional my responsibilities include mostly providing academic assistance with a student's work. I work mostly 1:1 however I do help several students simultaneously as well. The students often come to me specifically for psychology or psychology-related assignments and biology.
I worked as a youth director for two years at LaSalle Street Church. My responsibilities were to communicate and collaborate with volunteers and coworkers, to design curriculum and programming, and mentor and foster relationships with my students and the community. My open-mindedness and commitment to my students' success can be embodied in a conversation I had with a student. She came to me expressing how she recently diagnosed with depression and how it would affect her at school. I told the student that her experience was valid and true no matter what others thought. Additionally I told her that her school work will or be compromised. She may have to put more effort or time into it, but she was still just as smart. My resume goes into greater detail about my experiences with leadership, education, management. As you can see my educational, professional, and volunteer experience make me a well-rounded and excellent candidate for either position as a paraprofessional.
