Well seeing that Math is a global struggle for many students; I dedicate my time to studying ahead in training my senses as to how I can simplify the teaching methods and studies taught in school. Over the years, I notice that more and more families are in need of private tutors who are capable of offering patience, and skill, in advancing their love one's mind. I started my love of education very young, and started reading when I was just 2 years old. After that I just blossomed. I was invited into the gifted program as a 2nd grader at Matrin Luther King Elementary to continue throughout my middle school years. Now that I am in highschool, I've been placed into AP classes, because of my outstanding academics. However, there are some seeds in the world that need that extra boost to blossom into the flowers that they are, I believe I can provide that extra boost to your children.

Teaching is my passion! I have a masters degree in Early Childhood and Special Education as well as an endorsement specializing in Autism. I have taught in public schools for four years ranging from grades 1-5. I have had the honor of being selected as the lead teacher as well as model classroom for my most recent teaching job in Tampa, FL. I have earned all accomplished and exemplary ratings from my principals and truly love what I do.
I am a former divison II women's basketball athlete (captain). I played at Mercyhurst University for four years where I earned my bachelors and masters degrees in education. After college I coached high school girls basketball for two years and am willing to do private lessons ranging from ages 8-18.

I am a Resource support teacher that teaches students in grades K-5, reading, writing and math skills. I teach students with learning disabilities, autism, health impairments, traumatic brain injury and speech disorders. My students have fine motor and sensory disorders as well. I am completing my 32nd year teaching special education. I am trained in the Linda Mood Bell reading program Seeing Stars as well as SRA Reading Mastery, Leveled Literacy Intervention and Corrective Reading. If I tutor your child, I will do pre and post testing and also give you activities to do at home. I am looking for tutoring opportunities on Saturday since I am currently teaching.

I am a graduate of Elon University's Class of 2016 with my BS in Biochemistry and a minor in Neuroscience. Although I have a passion for science and continue to pursue a career in healthcare, I am also a published author and maintain an active lifestyle. I have years of tutoring experience at the middle school, high school, and college levels in addition to being a designated trainer at my job.
